Falernum is a complex syrup composed of cloves, cinnamon, ginger, almond and citrus. It was invented in the 19th century in Barbados. Originally prepared with rum base, but presented by Sanz in its non-alcoholic version, it is ideal to add a spicy dimension to tropical cocktails or tikis like Rum Swizzie or to give a personalized touch to classics like Mai Tai, even in cocktails with base Of vodka, gin and bourbon.
