Excellent Product
I took the plunge and purchased a whole line of Triad-Orbit products and I bought a few extra of these adapters to cover all of the mics and accessories that I use in the studio. The Quick Change adapter is an ingenius system that allows you to attach and detach mics, clips, shockmounts, booms, etc. with a fast and simple tug on a slip collar. You mount these adapters to whatever device you want to attach them to and just slip the hexagonal post into the coupling receiver. Triad-Orbit makes several retrofit adapters and accessories that allow you attach almost anything to mic stands and booms including audio, video, camera and lighting equipment. These little adapters are the heart and soul of the attachment process.
