This is a really innovative and great alternative to most cinches
This is a really innovative and great alternative to most cinches. I had harnesses for driving horses that had to be made with the best materials, and padded up for cross country driving. This product looked like the end all be all of the cinch industry. The company representative was really professional. The dressage girth that the company makes looks incredible-padded and rolled edges. The western cinch is the most expensive. It had no rolled edges, and little to no padding. The padding is velcro that holds a rather thin piece of fleece-that comes off to wash it. The leather was so stiff it looked like plastic, edges that have little give. I guess it works for keeping the saddle in place, I did not keep it to find out.

Must Have!! Especially if you own Gaited horses!!
Wow! Love-Love-Love this cinch!! If you have gaited horses this is a must have! My one gaited MFT mare is a short-backed sensitive horse with not much wither. Finally found a saddle to fit properly, then had a problem with cinches. I've tried so many different cinches for this girl, and every one of them would eventually slide behind the elbow and pinch to make her uncomfortable. Or worse gall her. I can't believe the difference in my mare's behavior and everything else. She moves much more freely, and is happy. I can't believe someone hasn't thought of this before now. I'm buying another one for my husband's horse. The expense is well-worth the comfort of your horse.

Needs a redesign: caused golf ball sized swelling
I purchased the fleece lined version of this girth a little over one-month ago. It was used for 30min to 1hr training sessions 5 days per week. I was initially impressed as my horse was able to extend his trot more easily. However, it appears that during the short time it was in use the fleece lining the hard leather exterior lost its padding ability at the midline. At the first horse show attended after purchasing the girth my horse developed a golf ball sized knot at his midline in his girth. I’m so upset for my horse right now, because towards the end of the show he got a little jittery and I assumed it was second show nerves getting to him. Once the swelling came up overnight and I returned to the show grounds I understood his jitters were pain based. Please be very careful if you own or plan to own this girth.

I don't like gimmicky equipment and keep everything as simple as possible
I was skeptical of these cinches at first. But after using one for my Tennessee Walker the past 6 months I'm a fan. I don't like gimmicky equipment and keep everything as simple as possible. I have noticed that the movement in my horse is smoother. I like that they are easy to clean as well. I wish they had sizes for pony sized horses as I have a 13.3 mustang I'm training and with her saddle she needs a 20" cinch.

Buy it, worth every penny.
I wasn't expecting such a worthy piece of equipment. I had not envisioned entirely how substantial it would be. I was cautious as the price seemed crazy high for a girth but now I see why. This changed all my girthing issues as my horse had been mishandled making her very sensitive. She trusted the solidness in this and I didn't have to make it very tight as it is so substantial and wide. She has become a different mare.

Thank God for this thing.
My horse has high withers with a low spot under them and cinch groove right behind the legs. The old cinch rubbed his legs, he'd be cinchy, and walk sideways. Ive used this things twice today and my horse didnt get flinchy or try to bite me when cinching him up. It gave me a ton of clearance behind his legs and I can not deny how much differnce it made immediately. Thanks to who ever makes these.

Seems to be accepted by him so much better than my former cinches (tried fleece
I purchased the western fleece one, hoping that my cinchy, "cold-backed" horse would be helped with this new concept. Seems to be accepted by him so much better than my former cinches (tried fleece, mohair, neoprene). I've only tried it a few times, but have been very impressed. I made sure I got one that was not too long, and the saddle seems much more secure with this girth. The horse I purchased it for is gaited and needs that freedom of shoulder movement and this seems to be fine. When I first looked at the ad for the product, I was under the impression that there was elastic in the western girth and I thought this would be good for him for his cinchy sensitivity, but I do not see any elastic in the western one, only the English version. I am still happy with the product, however.

Overpriced does not work like it states.
I am torn...I feel like this is an overpriced gimmick. I purchased this cinch for my short backed low withered filly whom I am breaking. I have problems with the saddle riding up over her shoulders and thought this cinch would help. It DOES NOT HELP with the saddle position. I am very disappointed with this cinch. However I have used it and am still using it. Maybe I needed a larger size, maybe not. Maybe it will work better when her hindquarters are no longer higher than her withers.
