Rrtizan Adult Inflatable Snorkel Vest Portable Life Jacket for Swimming Safety

Used this while snorkeling in Oahu. It was storm season so the only safe spot to snorkel was Turtle Bay. I’m not a strong swimmer and struggle with achy joints. This was the perfect floatation device for extra support while swimming or when I wanted to just float.

I waited to review until I used it but am pleased to say that I am very happy. It was very inexpensive and some reviews raised concerns. The vest itself was of good quality. Others mentioned a failure to get the proper straps (specifically missing the crotch strap) but I got everything I think I needed. I definitely would be unhappy without the crotch strap. I am 6'4" and the straps are long enough for me to use comfortably. I would do it again and will probably get one for my wife.

Packed this for my last snorkeling trip (it packs up smaller than my fins and I had limited luggage space). It made snorkeling manageable even without fins. It adds bouyancy, but is not a PFD.

I took this on a Caribbean cruise and it was better than I expected. On two excursions, I wore similar ones provided by the excursion, but on one I decided to use this, since the snorkel area had a lot of boat traffic, and the excursion life jackets were black, so not very visible.This one stayed down under my chest much better than the excursion vests. No wedgie! It seems well made and it worked well, so I'd definitely purchase again.**Update Nov 2018 - took this on another vacation, snorkeled with it for a week. It still works great and I wouldn't change a thing. I'm a 5'6" woman and I have tons of strap length left over.If you find it rides up too much, don't inflate it quite as much. I'd still purchase again.**Update May 2019 - this has now been on four week-long snorkel trips and I still love it. Bought one for a gift, and the recipient has had it on three trips and is also very happy with it.

I recently took this to the Caribbean. It was so easy to use. Quick to inflate and deflate. Stores easily in my beach bag.

Just what I wanted for snokeling. I have all the gear for scuba, boating and kayaking. This just adds a level of safety when in the water. Field tested in pool and works as advertised. Should rinse and hang to dry. Inflation is easy. Do not use for anything other than snorkeling as life jackets for paddleboarding are USCG approved for that activity. Manual inflate means not to be used on a boat. If you think you saw this in a WWII movie you are right. This is the "Mae West" my dad wore. Later the Navy used auto inflators with pull cords. This presumes you are awake and healthy and just got tired while swimming and needed flotation. No distress strobe, no whistle, no SOLAS tape. Good price for such an item.

I purchased 2 of these. I really liked how it kept me afloat while snorkeling. Wife preferred the old gross orange life preserver on the stinky old boat, due to the strap that goes between your legs at the groin, but whatever. Easy to blow up and packed well in a suitcase.
