This miniature was easy to put together with the exception of some pieces that got warped from the way they were packaged. I wasn't as impressed with the quality of materials and the care taken in packaging as compared to my favorite brands so far, Handscraft and Rolife. I was excited to see that it came with a dust cover but once it got it together it didn't fit. I had to take off one side to put the dust cover over it. Very disappointing.Overall, the miniature turned out cute but it was much easier to put together and simpler than I'd hoped. I like to work on miniatures that offer some challenge and take more time.

This is the third kit I've done so far and it has definitely been my favorite.It's a pretty quick build - it only took me about a week to put together. There are fewer components than a lot of other kits as well, making it ideal for a beginner. And the end product is absolutely adorable!There are a few things to note if you are buying this kit. First, it comes from China and the instructions, while in English, sometimes leave a little to be desired. However, I found them manageable - they came with a lot of pictures that I felt were very clear explanations of how certain things should fit together. This kit comes with a music box and lighting (the batteries are not included, so make sure to get those as well). I didn't have much of an issue with the lighting, it was pretty straightforward. But when I did my first lighting for a kit like this, I found it very difficult as I had never wired anything before. I'd recommend looking at some youtube videos if you get frustrated - it may take a couple tries to get it right but it's worth it! Lastly, a few small items seemed to be missing from my kit - mostly a few beads that were intended for the tulips - and there wasn't much in the way of extra materials, meaning that if you mess something up, you may not have enough material to redo it. However, the materials themselves are easy to find in local hardware stores, so if you do find you made a mistake, I would go out and grab some extra materials to match. They may also come in handy for future kits.Bottom line, this is a great kit to start out with. If you find it frustrating or get stuck, there's lots of youtube videos that can be very helpful. You can do it!

It is hard to put together the glass dust cover have no idea how hard this was. I may buy more but yes I may not buy again

This was different than others I have made and I enjoyed the work. I made a few changes to my taste and added a few things. I took the cabinet in the back and drew on a line to make drawers on the bottom and added handles. The bead for the street lamp didn’t come with it. But I was able to use one I had on hand and it looks great. I also ordered and used another music box. The ones that come with it and the other mini builds are all the same and aren’t very good. I would suggest if your able, to makes copies of the Designer papers. I used them to make more flag banners and signs. I also didn’t put the signs along the bottom of the window, that’s was just odd. I used one sign on the counter and the other 2 I put on the top of the cabinet I drew the drawers on. I also added paper hinges to the door.

I bought this to assemble when my internet/tv goes out in the winter. It totally occupies my mind so I’m not stressing. When it’s done I will gift or donate it. Or if it looks amazing I will keep it!

Appreciated all the accessories included but this kit is not for beginners!!! Takes many hours & patience to make this cute kit... the dust cover was nice but you need to put it together & directions weren't always very clear.

I have my daughters this house as a gift, they put it together in about a week afterschool. The chocolate store looks amazing. It's full of beautiful detail. They really enjoy putting it together.
