PlushBeds 3" Medium 100% Natural Talalay Latex Mattress Topper - Cal King

I’m officially a latex convert! Let me preface this by saying I had spinal surgery a couple months ago, and during my recovery I need all the lumbar support I can get.Our Tempurpedic mattress is nearly 10 years old and it’s WAY too hard and uncomfortable (the model is even discontinued). We’re trying to avoid purchasing a new, expensive mattress so we’ve been using a variety of toppers over the years. These were mainly of the memory foam variety, none of which gave me long-term pain relief. I’d wake up so sore that eventually I said screw it and slept on our couch. That’s pretty bad for an otherwise healthy 30 year old!When we got the latex topper I could immediately feel the difference between it and our old mattress and toppers. It cradles my entire body all night but not so much that my spine is misaligned. It has almost a “springy” feel, but not in a bed spring kind of way - it’s simply the most responsive and comfortable topper I’ve ever had. So much in fact that it makes me want to purchase a whole latex mattress! My husband isn’t as picky as me but he loves it too. I’m a side sleeper and he’s a stomach/back sleeper, between the two of us I can officially say it provides all-night comfort in any position.

I BOUGHT A N3 (MEDIUM) FIRMNESS AT FIRST WHICH WAS VERY COMFORTABLE BUT LEFT ME WITH AN ACHING BACK IN THE MORNING. I HAVE SCOLIOSIS AND AM A SIDE AND BACK SLEEPER AND NEEDED MORE SUPPORT. I THEN GOT A N4 MEDIUM /FIRM WHICH GIVES A LOT MORE SUPPORT. WOKE UP MINUS THE BACKACHE. IT IS COMFORTABLE AND I THINK WILL EVEN BE BETTER AFTER I GET USED TO THE NEW FIRMNESS. WORKS WELL FOR A SIDE/BACK SLEEPER WITH BACK ISSUES.

I've had memory foam in the past and it was terrible after a few months and it began to offer less and less support over time. This extra firm latex is retaining its shape perfectly and is very comfortable. I bought the king size and used an old kitchen electric knife (I've also used a bread knife in the past) to easily cut the king size in half; this allowed me to stack the two pieces for less cost than purchasing two twin XL latex mattresses.

Great topper, and makes your mattress like news and much softer!

I like this so far. Extra firm is just that, so after one night I opened my mattress up and replaced the cheap foam under the pillow top layer and it’s perfect. Soft yet supportive. Great quality.

WOW - super soft. Sleep without aches and pains!!!

My husband finds the mattress topper very comfortable. I do not. I find it is NOT cool as claimed but I wake up quite warm. I have trouble falling asleep and awake frequently.
