Please read my original issue below that I reviewed on. Since then I wrote an email to the company (customer service email listed on paperwork that came with the dispenser) and they actually sent me a new dispenser. I was so surprised and pleased. Original review - I bought this for a Christmas present Dec 2019 and we loved it in the kitchen. So much so that in July of 2020 we bought another one for the bathroom. We have had no issues but this morning I got up at 3:30am and went into the kitchen and the counter was covered in soap slime. The dispenser had emptied itself completely. I refilled it and it doesn’t work. Tried new batteries and that’s not the issue. Maybe when it dispensed everything it kept trying and burned itself out. I would still buy this again but will wait to see if the second one has issues before a year is up. There was nothing sitting under the dispenser that would have triggered it and no little kids around who might “play” with it.

The base broke easily. refer to pictures. The plastic may have a manufacturing defect and it broke when I opened it for the very first soap refill, which is just a couple weeks after first use.The dispenser is in a heavy use area by the kitchen sink. I liked the way it worked and did not want to return item to amazon. I used pliers to remove the broken piece from the top, super glued it to the base. and it started working fine, so I saved my self from the hassle of returning the item and waiting for the replacement to arrive. I was also happy that I sent one less piece of plastic to the landfill.After few more refills, the super glue gave away. This time I use a stronger glue, quick grip - all purpose contact cement. It lasted me a few more weeks.When it broke again, I tried hot glue. Because the hot glue is thicker, the top does not close too well and is not airtight. So the soap is dispensed with gaps in between.I contacted the seller and explained the above. Their reply:" Dear customerI'm very sorryThe damage to the base was caused by man. There is no way to replace it.Recently we have a special promotion, you can follow us "If it breaks when I close it too tight, then it is understandable. Maybe I ate too much protein or spinach that day. But if it breaks when I am opening it, the plastic is either too thin or is brittle due to a manufacturing defect.Why am I documenting my experiments here? well, don't make the mistake I made. If it breaks, return it. Or try a different glue than the ones I tried :-)Summary: When it works, the dispenser is nice, dispenses soap very well - but all of that is useless without a good sturdy base container.

I have 3 of the Aeakey foaming soap dispensers and 2 Kohler dispensers.My family prefers the Aeakey dispensers over the Kohlers. Both dispense home made soap mix as a foam, but the Aeakey has finer foam that lasts longer (always good when your washing your hands for at least 20sec) but it does not have a timer. We are guessing at the 20sec wash cycle based on the foam disappearing on our hands.All 3 of our Aeakey dispensers have worked great, but the newest one developed an issue with not foaming after 3 weeks of use. After receiving a prompt email reply from Aeakey Support( via Amzon website), I followed their instructions (see attached) to make it foam again. Unfortunately this did not fix the problem. Without hesitation, Aeakey Support offered a replacement.....which arrived 2 days later. Wow, what customer support!For my family the Aeakey beats the Kohler in all aspects. Foaming is better, battery usage is lower, reservoir is larger and has an easier to observe soap level, it is more attractive and provides 2 useful foam volume levels. The Aeakey also has the batteries in a better location, further away from the wet counter top compared to the Kohler.I highly recommend the Aeakey foam soap dispenser for your bathroom, kitchen and/or workshop. Creating your own foam soap mix is easy (1 part soap, 3 parts water) and you can use any type of liquid soap except soap with added particles/beads. I recommend not to overfill the soap container and not to over tighten it when screwing it back in place.Due to the battery compartment arrangement the dispenser requires AA cells that have a large contact area around the battery top. Some "heavy duty" battery types do not have this and may not work consistently in this dispenser. I have not had any problem using standard alkaline AA cells.

I've had the item for 4-5 months now and I can tell you the item itself is great with the different modes and the accessibility. However, the item just stopped pumping out the soap. I read the instructions and assumed it might be the batteries. After putting in new batteries multiple times, the light on top comes on but doesnt pump anything out. The return date has passed and cant seem to find a way to contact the seller.Updated: 12/03/2020I contacted the seller and they sent a brand new one. Didnt take long for the new item and hope this one lasts longer!

This is the best dispenser.

Had bought this item coz of the reviews. Was working well at first, and the kids loved it. However, after using this for a month, the dispenser literally stopped working overnight. Last night ok, this morning nothing. The on/off power touch button still works fine. Lights up red when switching off, lights up white when switching on. However, the dispenser just does not work. There is no sound to even indicate that the dispenser is trying to pump out the soap. Changing out to fresh new batteries did not help either. What a waste of money....

Terrible product. Stop working after 6 months and the returned window is closed after 3 months which means warranty for 3 months only
