Anyone that watches you tube or instagram influencers has likely seen a ring light. I’ve wondered if they were really worth the hype so I thought I’d give it a try. I am IMPRESSED! I just recently got a new iPhone 11 so have already been pretty happy with the picture quality. Would a ring light be THAT MUCH better. Yes, yes it would. See for yourself in my attached pictures. The lighting brightens my undereye shadows, my wrinkles become hidden without the shadows they create, and you can actually see the true color of my eyes.When unpackaging I was pleased by the extra care in wrapping up the light to prevent breakage. Now, I will say I was a little disappointed when I saw the phone holder that screws right on to the stand. I knew it wouldn’t hold my now much larger phone. Boy, was I wrong. The holder surprisingly opened up to fit my iPhone 11 snugly without feeling like it’s going to break.I do like that you can adjust the height of the ring light stand to be on the tabletop or stand on the ground. The ground level stand is not made to be even with a 6’ person (me) to be standing straight in front of it. While it can be angled up or down, I prefer not to have a camera coming from below my chin. 😂 One downside is I am nervous it will fall since it is a bit wobbly on the stand. Not wobbly in the sense of loose screws. Everything attaches to each other very firmly and is quite sturdy in that regard. I feel that the taller you set the stand up the more likely it “feels like” it might fall over. It didn’t fall, but I just stepped on the base to keep myself from worrying. However, the light can be set at a perfect height while I’m sitting and talking to the camera. Perfect for a vlog.The power button is actually pretty nice. A light touch on the frame where the power symbol is will turn it on. You can then hold the + or - button to adjust how much light is shining from the ring light. The pictures I’ve attached are at 100% brightness.But, my FAVORITE part...it comes with a little remote to take your pictures! Pairing with your phone is easy peasy! Just turn on and click the iOS or android button according to the device you are using. Hooks up through Bluetooth and you click to snap a pic.Very pleased with this purchase overall.

I gifted it to my girlfriend and she loves it! You can use it for makeup, selfies and what not! I am sure the Insta-addicted people will find more for use for it. At first we were having a little trouble assembling the whole thing (specially the LED cover on the picture). But it was pretty simple after we watched a YouTube video.I couldn’t find any cons for far. So, I will only talk about the pros. The lights are smooth, dimmable and you can control the color temperature according to your need with gentle touch – which I think is pretty cool. The construction is also very sturdy. I wasn’t expecting this for the price I paid. The remote control key comes handy for group selfies and stuff. Plus, the height and angle of the light ring can be adjusted to put shadows in photos if you are taking B&W shots. Another plus side is the USB power cable, which is over 6 feet long! I was able to run it on a power bank. In conclusion, it is a quality gift item for a reasonable price.

When I first bought this product I thought it was made out of plastic but to my surprise it was sturdy and made out of metal. The set is made up of 3 parts that twist together easily for clean up. The actual ring light has 3 different shades of colors and different levels of brightness for the perfect combo. We use it to film office videos when it’s too dark. The phone holder is a little below the mirror in the middle and attached to the stand. The remote is a nice addition. I’m very happy about this product

Bought this for a friend so she could do her makeup. My friend needed a makeup mirror, and I had recently purchased a ring light, so I thought this would be a good idea since she does some streaming too. She ended up loving this. It is so easy to use and even comes with a remote. Very cool that you can change the lighting color. Comes with a very high quality feeling metal base, none of those plastic feet some others have. Overall we are both very happy with this item.

A little cumbersome to assemble and the instructions are not very detailed. I did have to take off the case on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S9+) to put it in the holder. It didnt seem to secure as I was able to slide it easily. It may be used error but this was my experience. The first two pictures are normal living room lighting, the second are with the light and the last two are of the light itself for size reference. It can go higher than I had it.

This is actually helpful in many ways: the different light hues, the adjustability of height, the strength of the structure, and the weight of the base to balance it all.The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the light works off a usb and I was hoping it would be off the iPhone 8 style, however this wasn’t a huge issue and does allow it to work with android users, not just Apple users.

My apartment has very little natural light and sometimes it's hard to do my make up, but I just got this, switched the light on and it was perfect! Excited to do my make up tonight :)

Arrived used and damaged! Whoever inspects that item should be held accountable for such deceitful practice.
