UPDATE 4/08/15 - I've replaced this with T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel toner. It's dirt cheap, and I feel like it does a better job. It never dries me out.Original review:This is one of the best methods of controlling my breakouts. It balances the pH on my skin. It kills bacteria. Best of all though, it calms my skin down. Redness and swelling go down significantly about 10-30 minutes after I use this. The only downside is that this toner can dry me out if used for too long or used too frequently. The pH balancing property is supposed to regulate the moisture of the skin so I don't get too dry or too oily, but I find that the way the toner evaporates actually counters that effect.
