This really is a feel good fun read.
As the blurb says, a fun filled summer read. This was an easy book to read, full of fun & even though it only spans a couple of weeks the characters are good, the storyline fun & took me away from the mundane daily routines. Oh to have a chance to go to a romantic Greek island.

Boring
Very predictable and dry- I really wanted to like it, and I gave it a chance because I love Mamma Mia, but this book should be intended for middle schoolers with the simple way it's written.

A huge serving of greek cheese!
This story is all that it promises - a great summer read. Perfect for a poolside or beach - although i was by neither! It's easy to read, addictive and as mentioned cheesy, Greek cheesy! But that's what is good about it - constant references to the film throughout. Fans of chick lit and Mama Mia will enjoy. I wonder if like the film there will be a second book it would be nice to see how the guest house runs and if Laurel's friends come back to the island.....here we go again???

Light and fun. Read it on a wet Saturday, just hit the spot. Conjures up sunshine, good holiday memories, new friendships and the possibility of leaving the humdrum of the everyday and starting afresh in a little chunk of paradise.
I really enjoyed this book, it was light and fun and heartwarming, the perfect escapism on a wet Saturday at the start of November. Annie Robertson described each scene so well that I felt like I could be there.
