First, it doesn’t work most of the time. Second, it doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. Third, when it does work, the way it does, not the way it’s supposed to it doesn’t work well.All of my iOS devices loose connection or do not connect with the devise. When you plug it in, it asks for permission to connect. I press accept. Then in the app it says no devise connected. Ok, I open the app first then plug the divers in. It starts working to compete 1 task, but the next task it’s disconnected again and you have to start over.Second, as a back up devise, it should back up the file and all the data associated with the file. It does not. It just copies the photo or file and changes all the data and meta data like date, location. Everything is gone. It just cookies the photo or file. So if you did use it as a backup. All your photos would say they were from the day of your backup and location information is gone. Also, if you edited the photo with the iOS photo app, the changes are gone and can’t be reverted. Also, when I backed up photos instead of copying them, they don’t show up in the drive when plugged into a pc, it says no data, it only shows up on the original devise. I guess that’s the third point too. This thing just doesn’t work well and when it does kinda the thing they say it does a bad job. Not what it should.The iOS decides also do not recognize it as a drive in the iOS files app, so you can’t explore it. It also is not recognized in the send feature in iOS. The arrow you use to move or send a pic or file.This is a fault of the software app used for the unit and can not be changed or hacked or the u it can not be used without their app. The Sandisk iExpand Which is the thing this is copying actually works with your iPhone and it is recognized truly backs up you data, photos and information. It shows up as a drive, just like your phone storage and you can use the send or move icon just like the file is on your phone or iPad.Overall very poor implementation/ copy of the sandisk iExpand and doesn’t work properly. Strong do not waste your money. I wouldn’t use this unless it was given to me and then would only use it for files, not photos.

I love this product very much. It is small but get my iPhone memory problem resolved quickly. It is really easy to use. Just plug it in and I am able to move my things from iPhone to this storage. The large size memory gives me capability to back up entire iPhone. It is also easy to work with my laptop. The speed is good as well. Nice and handy product

BEFORE I RETURN THIS, please HELP. I was able to test and transfer a few short videos and attempted to play them on my lap top. The low quality videos from Snapchat play just fine. But the HD videos from my iPhone XS camera do not play the video, just the audio. Any solution?? Please help. The thumb drive itself looks and feels sturdy and easy to use.Also, the app to use the flash drive is not very friendly. It doesn’t allow you to search for folders. You have to scroll through thousands of videos and pictures to select your videos of choice to transfer.

It’s kind of expensive but for what I need it was worth it for me. It’s easy to use! Now no more phone needs more storage BS! It’s made from sturdy materials it could have came with a case for the money but as long as your very careful with it you’ll be fine I think It’s glitchy have to plug it up to a computer and see if that recovers my photos but I’m not sure it will. I had a bunch of text messages I needed for my husbands court case to get access to his daughter and so so many of them don’t seem to be on the drive anymore and I already deleted them off the phone so He’s screwed if they aren’t! Will update when I find out what happened. But I’m super pissed as of now!

This flash drive is good but is dependent on Y-disk to work properly. Y-disk on Amazon gets 2 stars. The flash drive would work for a while, then the devices would no longer recognize it.

This thing didn't work. Would not even actually format (kept getting message to format it after doing so, and uploads from computer apparently were made as they were indicated as occurring on my computer, but no files ever showed up on the device). Aside from it just being defective, it would not even connect to my iPhone without removing the protective case.

I bought this to copy photos from iCloud.1. It did not get them all2. The date on all photos was the day I downloaded them to this drive3. All soon as I started to download the photos to my computer I got a terrible virus. I’m convinced that it came from this stick.I didn’t try to return it because I didn’t use it for a couple months after I received it. So it went to the trash.
