We bought this for an almost-five-year-old to take along on vacation. She can swim but she's not terrific and I was not letting her in an ocean without some sort of life vest! (Though we obviously planned to be very near her at all times - I suppose this thing could get caught on a branch or scrape on a rock and rip open!) This packed really well, folding down quite small. It was easy to blow up (super fast - one blow!) and was easy to adjust (both the amount of air and the straps). Bonus because she used a life vest from the cruise ship and another on one shore excursion that both rubbed under her arm and really bothered her - this cannot rub too many places because it doesn't touch too many places and all of it is fairly smooth. She loved it, I felt she was safe in the water. The color was awesome because she was super easy to spot, especially when surrounded by tons of other kids on the beach. I had my doubts about bringing this along as it's not TINY when folded but it was worth every penny and its space in the suitcase.

I bought two of these vests for my grandchildren ages 9 and 7 for our trip to Hawaii. They were wonderful. It was their first time snorkeling and they worked great. I would recommend them to anyone for their children. They are easy to use, inflating and deflating is simple and they fold up and pack very well.

First weekend of use, was very successful.My son is not the most confident swimmer but loves snorkeling - the inflatable allowed him to float and check out the fish for long periods of time instead of panicking, standing up and scaring the fish and irritating his sisters. Best of all it gave me peace of mind to sit back and watch him without thinking I have to run in and save him. Remember this is just for floating and not a safety jacket. It’s perfect for snorkeling and for people of all ages, my partner even got one for herself. Great buy and a must for the summer!

Product worked well for a 5 year old's first ocean snorkeling experience. It performed as expected but after initial inflation and deflation, valve became stuck. To make it work, have to pull really hard on the valve for the blown air to not escape. I purchased the pink one for my 5 year old, and 2 green ones for my 7 and 9 year olds. Only the pink one has problems. Might be a quality control issue so it just might be a crap shoot of what works and what doesn't.

We got this for our 7 year old son for a snorkeling trip to Greece. It worked perfectly and was light and easy to pack . It helped him float safely while snorkeling and gave me some piece of mind. Just be careful like it says in the directions to not get sand into the mouthpiece. I had to rinse it off a few times when my son was careless and tossed it down in the sand. This seems to be a good price for this vest and shipping was fast.

The piece where you inflate it broke before we could even use it. Didn't find out it was broken until we were on our trip. Luckily, my daughter was able to use the life jacket on the boat worn around her waist and it worked well. I bought it a month or so before the trip and didn't even think about checking it. By the time we saw that it was broke, it was too late to return it.UPDATED.I was contacted within a day or so from the company and was offered a replacement. I received that within a week. Opened it and everything is how it should be. It works great. I would purchase it again with the life lesson of checking everything when it first arrives to make sure it works!! 😬

After booking a trip to the Bahamas we knew we would be doing some snorkeling. Our son is a strong swimmer but I knew that snorkeling in open water can get very tiring. We bought this lifevest on a whim hoping it would help and it did not disappoint. It works so that the kids don't have to keep moving their feet to stay afloat and it helps them to hold the correct posture to put their face in the water for snorkeling. Great purchase.

We purchased this for our trip to Grand Cayman. Daughter is a strong swimmer but we wanted her to have some help on longer snorkel trips. This definitely serves its purpose and held up but she found it to be very uncomfortable. Even with very little air, it rode up.
