Either the ads lie or they are counterfeit.
I purchased this watch for my daughter twice. A friend of her's had one and the size and design fit her very small wrist well. The first time I ordered it (she specially requested it) she wore it to the summer camp she works at and within minutes of being splashed at the pool it died. The screen fogged over and was impossible to read. By the next day the thing failed completely. She emailed me and I put in a return request and ordered a second one. I figured it had just been a defective item.Not. The second one did the same thing and was returned. That one I opened up and looked at inside. The tiny gasket that would have made the unit water proof was not the correct size or shape to sandwich between the parts. The connections and the battery were all corroded and rusted.Beyond the disappointment and hassle of buying and returning my daughter was stuck at camp for a week with out a watch, which made her life pretty difficult. The next week we sent an old ugly sports watch as a back up.I think that this seller may be handling counterfeit goods. The stupid things aren't water resistant in a heavy fog!

Deuce Brand Watch
These comments refer to several of these watches that I own--both Deuce Brand and Rumbatime. The watches are very novel and very light (only ten grams). They are quite accurate. Takes a few minutes to learn to set it, but once you get the hang it's easy. The same cannot be said for changing the battery. It's doable--I've done it on a number of the watches, but you have to be handy and learn how. Also, it requires those tiny screwdrivers. Changing the battery on the Deuce Brand is more difficult than on the Rumbatime even though the construction is similar. The good news is that battery changing is infrequent--just be certain you purchase fresh merchandise, so the battery doesn't run down in storage. Design of this watch doesn't permit the manufacturer to leave the battery disconnected before purchase. A very good thing about the Deuce Watch vs. the Rumbatime is that Deuce ships with the band in a normal position. Rumbatime puts their watches into a tube that deforms the band. Also, Deuce always has the full range of sizes whereas Rumbatime has many always out of stock. One thing that is an occasional problem with both brands. At times, the watches set themselves back to "zero" (midnight January 1). This is very annoying and requires resetting everything, not just the time. I think this is caused by static electricity generated when inseting an arm into a sleeve rapidly especially in dry weather.

Love it!
I have never been a big fan of watches because they ether make my wrist itchy, or i forget to wear them, but as a college student I needed a watch that I could wear on the go when jogging, school, and work. Because I work at a pizza restaurant I am constantly washing my hands, cooking, and cleaning, so I didn't want a fancy expensive watch, or a big sporty one. I wanted a watch that would look nice with anything, and that was waterproof, so that I wouldn't have to take it off and put it on again. When I first saw this watch I loved it! I got it in white, It has the time and the date, and it doesn't even feel like your wearing it which is what I love the most. Programing it was a piece of cake just read the instructions and a pen can help to push on the buttons because they are really tiny, but you only have to program it once, so it doesn't take a genius to do it. Once the battery on this one dies i'm just going to order another one with a different color:D. Got the man size for my dad and he loves it! ;D

Two watches, neither told time ZERO stars
The Deuce rubber sports watch was a great fit and my daughter loved it. Unfortunately the first one, after a really miserable time setting it properly, worked for somewhere close to 40 hours and then stopped dead in its tracks. It wasn't the battery as you could still change numbers, it just didn't tell time any longer.Amazon was great about replacing the watch with an identical item.Again, setting it was finicky but we got it set. Time and date were perfect. Alas, it would need to remain 10:43AM on January 4 forever for this watch to be useful. Darn thing didn't budge. Two more attempts. This watch is well designed for small athletes. Unfortunately it does not work. Period.

I use to be OBSESSED with these watches! Always lasted, and was so thin and perfect. But I found recently ALL the deuce I bought, which is a total of 5, they died shortly after. I tried to get the battery change, but apparently water got into them. I ordered from amazon AND on the deuce website and still had issues. I never took them off, so I am guessing all the excessive water killed it eventually.

Hard to set; not reliable
My husband bought me a FitBit, so I decided to get this watch because it's small and I can wear them on the same wrist. Aside from being difficult to set, the display kept fading in and out. The "DEUCE" on the face is contstantly flashing, whic I think is unneccesary and probably drains battery life. I found it frustrating that the time display kept fading in and out. I'm not sure it if was the battery or just a faulty product. For the price, I say it's not worth it and I wish I would have returned mine.

BLANKED OUT
It's works off and on. After a month after buy it, the watch lost it's setting and then it went BLANK! I hit it few times and it lit back up. i reset it again, but only used it once. i'll be returning it if it happens again. Kinda crappy for $25

Just what I was looking for
I had seen a few watches like this with a price range from $3 to $25. Not wanting to live the adage "you get what you pay for," I opted for something in the middle and am pleased with what I received. This watch came exactly as advertised. The actual watch part -- digital "box" -- is a little thicker than I expected or hoped, but it hasn't been a problem. Once I put it on I no longer noticed its size. The silicone band is resilient [I've had it for about 5 weeks] and wipes clean when it gets dirty. I wear my watch with the face on the under-side of my wrist and I have found that the face does not get scratched, nor, again, is the size a problem or distraction. I would recommend this watch to anyone who a simple, unobtrusive, and durable watch, it was just what I was looking for!
