Ordered these to hang chicken food and water so they are elevated off the ground for them. With the clips, they are easily accessible to disconnect from for refilling or cleaning the containers, moving locations, and attaching to the coop. Cords are thick and sturdy.

The cords are sturdy and work well securing anything BUT a dog on a leash. I tried a bungy as a leash extension to ease the tension when my puppy pulls. It snapped the first time she lurched at a squirrel. They’re not sold for this purpose, so my bad. I replaced them with bungy extensions that are made specifically for leashes. All is well.

So I bought a Thule set of roof crossbars. There square and they make a whistling noise. I put these on them and kinda spiral them from one side to another and the whistle went away. They stretch a lot and the carabiner is great quality. They have been on for months outside in the weather of wa state and they look like they did on day one.
