The best 'off the shelf' orthotics to date!
I have some custom made orthotics which cost me a fortune (£270 about 10 years ago). They are, without a doubt, the best orthotics I've ever had. BUT it's a pain keep swapping them from shoe to shoe and I'm forever hunting for something cheap to keep in my most used shoes/boots for dog walking and dog agility. Foam orthotics, even the high density foam ones, just compress too much and end up giving little to no support. I have a fairly high arch so I need something supportive. And since having a bilateral ceilectomy, I find I NEED to wear my orthotics to keep the pressure from the ball of the foot and subsequent pain. I have tried so many different orthotics with various degrees of success and have just discovered these. Wow - the best 'off the shelf' orthotics so far. They are a hard material but flex slightly so are not totally rigid. A bit like a hard silicone - if you dig your fingernail into them, you can just about make an impression so they're not a hard, slippery plastic. But they're way harder than a gel insole. If you got them wet, it wouldn't matter (not like foam insoles with a fabric covering). And I love the interchangeable inserts. I am using them with the low insert in my Crocs and they feel great. I know I will be able to splash about in the sea in my Crocs with my dogs and the orthotics will still look as good as new. Am about to order another pair!

Reduced Pain
This was recommended by a friend podiatrist for Plantar Fasciitis. It is the best thing I have found on the market so far while waiting for a medical appointment. It has greatly reduced pain and I can actually walk again. I started with the medium which had no effect on me but the high is a godsend. I can't emphasise enough how painful walking was without them and other insoles I have tried did little or no good. My shoe/boot sizes can vary so I bought the size of my foot rather than the shoe size which has worked well. Prior to receiving these I was virtually housebound it was that bad. Totally, totally recommend these.

Check the shoes you intend to put these insoles inside...
These insoles are great and, after a short breaking-in period, are very comfortable to wear. They come with an excellent instruction booklet which outlines everything you need to know in order to wear them correctly, such as removing any insole already within the shoe. My only problem was that, on removing said insoles from my favourite shoes, I found the shoe itself already had a built-in arch support so I was unable to use the new inserts. Several shoes later, I finally found a pair that were ideal, and they have now become my favourites! I am so glad I bought these, the pain relief I'm experiencing is profound...

Break them in gradually.
It's a bit too early to give a real assessment on how good these inserts are, hence only three star! Only used them for a few days. They instruct you to gradually break them in, by starting to wear them initially for an hour a day and then increase duration! I personally started wearing them using the medium insert but went back to the small one. They are fairly comfortable to wear. Fairly rigid so they do support the arch of the feet. I was able to remove the insoles as suggested! I will update later if I can. Did make feet feel a bit better.

Highly recommended
After suffering for nearly 18 months, spent a small fortune on splints, socks etc and having to use crutches for past month I tried these insoles. Followed the guide on gradually using them and I’ve seen a huge improvement, not used crutches at all, barely limping with shoes on - still have some pain in my foot but it’s only one week in and compared to what it was I’m delighted.

Give them a go
I was dubious at first as I have suffered for 20 years with spurs and arch problems. I have started off with the low arch and it did hurt the first day but I have been wearing them ever since and at the moment find that my arch feels better. Time will tell and I will try the other sizes as time goes on. For the price, if you are suffering definitely give them a go. they are very soft under the heel where my spurs are and this is a nice relief to the usual arches I wear.

Finally an orthotic that works
I have overpronation and bunion and a hammer toe. I have bought 10 previous orthotics over last few years. None of these were suitable: either not enough arch support or, usually, they made my shoes far too tight above the toes and caused pain. I can’t afford to replace all my shoes and anyway when I tried them with shoes a size bigger the shoes slipped at the back and gave me blisters. These are brilliant. I have used them with lowest pad first. My first thought was that these were so rigid that they were going to be uncomfortable. They are not. Quite the opposite: they appear to massage the arch of my foot as I walk. Within three days I was wearing them all day on long dog walks and to work. They are great in my trainers and as they are only three quarters long they don’t squeeze the toe cavity. They are not quite as Cody in my slip on shoes as they raise my heel up meaning the heel is not cupped as well; but they are still better than without anything.

Worth every penny!
I have had issues with my knees for nearly 20 years after several sports injuries as a kid/teen/young man. After many a visit to physios and quacks one man suggested I try lifting my arches on my feet. After initially trying several other (inferior) types I spotted these in your local well known chemist shop, but not in the correct size. I bought the correct size and at first I thought I’d wasted my money as on first wearing the discomfort was nearly unbearable but I persisted as suggested in the instructions. Within 2 days I had them in my shoes all day, with considerably less knee pain. They move from shoes to shoes easily as they’re hard plastic. They are not curing my issues (only surgery will do that) but they make walking a much happier past time. Defo worth a buy!
