I appreciate the soft touch of these tongs; the silicone allows me to safely use them on any type of material (e.g. stainless steel, glass, cast iron, wood, etc.) without having to worry about scratching the surface. They have a nice feel in the hand and the lock is a useful feature for storing them. The fact that this is a 3-piece set with small, medium and large tongs is an added benefit, because the small size is perfectly suited for use with my toaster oven, while the large size is great for the grill (keeping my hand just a little bit farther away from the heat) and the medium size is great for general purpose cooking on the stove.I am not sure I totally love the built-in stands; they are a nice idea, allowing the tongs to lie on a surface without the food-handling tips actually touching the surface, but they also get in the way a little bit when I store the tongs in a drawer with out utensils.

Just received these and only 1 of them balance and not tip over (the large grey one). The other 2 are pointless if you're looking for the tips of them not touching your counter tops. I like that they won't scratch your pot/pans though.8/3/18 - updating my review as they contacted me to right away to make things right. Communication with them was great! They refunded the full amount and will be sending me a new set. Excited to get the new set and hope they all work properly. Then I will update my review again and "love it"!10/25/18 - just received the new set, took them out of the bag and made sure they didn't tip over and yep, they are good to go! I did my usual checking through the reviews before I purchased this set of Tongs. My daughter and son-in-law just bought me an Air Fryer. I only had a very small cheap pair of Tongs so I really needed a much better set. I went by the title "Silicone Kitchen Tongs Cooking Set." When I took them out of the Amazon delivery box, I almost thought that I would have to return them, because I was looking at the largest Tongs of the three which kind of covered the other two and the largest looked huge to me. I thought those were barbecue Tongs rather than a set of kitchen Tongs and I almost was going to return them. I took the other two (the purple and the deep pink/red Tongs) into the kitchen and realized that those two were perfect for my Air Fryer and another Instapot that I have. My son-in-law likes to camp and he makes chef type meals in the outdoors, so I gave him the large(I prefer hotels because vacation should not include cooking☺️!The two I am using are really nice. They are made very sturdy with large silicone "claws," to pick up the food for turning, especially turning large chicken breasts over. I would have given them a five star rating instead of four because the "feet" on the side that are supposed to keep the claws off the counter, both for sanitary reasons and to keep the counter or stovetop cleaner and they do not work at all. The "claws" are so big and heavy, that they go right down so that the claws rest right on the countertop, so I need to put a plate right under them to keep them from creating a mess on the counter. Otherwise, the big plus for me is the size of the seven and nine inch Tongs to help make turning easier or to mix together different items well! I also have arthritis in my hands which made the twelve inch Tongs difficult for me to use, yet work very well for others. As I explained though, this set is very well made and very sturdy.

I LOVE this tongs set. Originally I purchased it and received a defective set (the tongs wobbled side-to-side super bad). I contacted the company and they promptly sent me a new set----awesome customer service. The set I have now is fantastic! People don't realize what they can use these for. We recently used ours on: tossing and serving salads, bowl of chips for guests, BBQ meat, turning things over in the oven (i.e. egg rolls, french fries, etc.) picking things up while you're dredging (i.e. chicken, etc.) without getting your hands "caked-up", even picking toast out of your toaster! (we have that crappy-kind of toaster that you have to "fork" the toast to get it out.) Anyhow, I find mine constantly dirty because I'm using them all the time (buy two sets, you won't regret it). The Pot Holder is awesome, only because everyone burns their hands constantly on those cloth pieces of crap, but this silicone thing lets you take things out of the oven and hold it without it heating through and burning your hands.
