Great fit for my Dan Wesson .357 magnum
Holster fits my Dan Wesson .357 Magnum like a glove, sits on my side nicely and grip is right at my hand naturally. Great holster, great value!

Good holster, seems durable, will protect the gun, 2 small cons
It's a nice nylon holster with some cool features. It took me alittle while to figure out the thumb strap release, you just push the reinforced nylon with the female button into your leg to release the strap when its tightened and adjusted correctly. My only 2 cons for this product are that there is a chance to rub the button with the cylinder depending on the angle you pull it. Also, along the edge at the top of the holster where you put the gun in, it has an over lap or nylon to strengthen the edge. Well the nylon folds over the edge only about a quarter of an inch and there is a small amount of fabric that is free to flap up and down since the sticthing does not go all the way to the edge of the nylon, which is expected. But this causes the edge of the cylander to catch as you are drawing the pistol, it's not big deal but just something I notice. Over all, good holster, seems durable a comfortable once you get use to something hugging your thigh. I have a SW 586 6 inch and it works perfectly. The model of holster I ordered from the selection menu was for the 686 model since they didnt have a 586 model but both guns are the same frame, not sure if this is the correct holster for it, not sure if different model holsters are lined with different material for blued or stainless guns but that's the one I got and it works just fine.

Bought for a Ruger GP100. I'm 6'3" at 230lbs.
My initial reaction when strapping it to my leg was it's too small and rids down too far close to my knee. I adjusted the belt strap as high as I can get it and expanded both thigh straps as far as I could with one of the buckles but couldn't get the top strap around my leg. So naturally I wasn't happy.I sat down for a few minutes watching a few videos online on other stuff and just messed around with the straps a bit, and realized for someone with a larger leg, you really need to extend both the buckle and the clip out. Tried it on my leg and I could have fit my arm between the strap and my leg. Now it's damn near perfect. My leg isn't getting choked and it's still held firm against my leg. I can even squat down while not feeling too tight.I'm happy with it :).

It works
It holds my model 686 securely and positioned correctly. My only beef is leg tie downs. They are so short that if you have legs that are a little thick the fit will be tight.

Affordable, comfortable, and secure.
Fit the revolver as advertised. Comfortable and easy to adjust to each user. Can be adjusted to fit a wide variety of belt widths and ride heights.Keeps the revolver secure yet the the snap at the thumb break opens easily when drawn.

Not very Secure. Better off with Hip Holster.
Bought this because I wear a backpack out in the woods and didn't want the hip strap to cover my gun when using a regular holster.Holster feels loose. Maybe I didnt find the perfect strap tightness or something, but I could never make this thing feel secure. The straps that go around you're legs never seemed to hold the weight of my GP100 (this will fit a 5 inch gp100 by the way). The straps would always seem to slide down. Because I couldn't fully secure the holster, I'd always find my gun pulling my pants down slightly.Even if I didn't secure the straps right for some reason, it still means the holster isn't intuitive. If you're a backcountry hiker who has issues with their backpack hip straps going across their gun, I might look into a chest holster set up instead of this leg holster.
