Lock and Lock is truly the best plastic container out there. They last forever if taken care of, seal in moisture beautifully. I use this one to drain my cheeses when I make camembert or belper knolle. I only wish they had drain trays for some of the other sizes. I'd gladly pay for them separately.

I am so impressed! I had done a search online about how to store fresh produce and someone recommended these. I purchased some cauliflower and put it in this container after washing and after 3 weeks or so, I still had not eaten all the cauliflower, so I thought...I better go throw that out because it's got to be bad by now. Low and behold, it was just as fresh and perfect looking as the day I placed it in the container. No blackening at all. It is especially interesting because, as other reviewers noted, it does have condensation on the inside, presumably from the washing of the veggies. But, it seems that was actually a good thing, because it certainly didn't affect the quality of the vegetable. Only bad thing, is that now I have to go out and buy more, because they are so terrific.

I use it over and over again. Being single I always make more than I can eat. This works perfectly for storing those leftovers.

Good quality at a reasonable cost. I have 2 of these and use them most at Christmas to store cookies & candy before packing and distributing my gift tins. Great for carrying foods to family get-togethers and cookouts.

This keeps my salad fresh and wilt-free for a long period of time. If I had more room in my fridge, I'd buy more. Excellent value for the money!

I can’t leave a bad review on this product, just only on me. I thought I was buying a glass food storage container. So my bad.As for the looks and durability, it’s 5 stars. I washed it, then filled it half way with water, put the lid on, flipped it over for a bit, the seal kept water in and absolutely no leaking. So I’m assuming that this container is indeed air tight.I’ll store flours or sugars in this container until I have gathered enough glass food storage containers to replace my plastic ones. If plastic is your thing, then this item is awesome for air tight storage.I just think it’s a tad pricey for plastic.

We had this exact container and it disappeared at a pot luck type event, so we ordered another one.The tray is great for cur fruit to keep the items from sitting directly in the juice. Many people asked where we had gotten it and wanted their own (as evidenced by it disappearing...)Wife was very happy when I ordered this replacement. She can now have her cut fruits again.On that note, between the tray and the sealed lid, the fruits last MUCH longer using this container....
