I used a dremel to cut an opening exposing the microphone and they work just fine. I’ve only had them a week so I can’t speak to the longevity but for <$10, if I get a few months out of them, I’ll consider it to be worth it. **Q: Can these fit over skullcandy earbuds?** A: I don’t know about Skull Candy, but they fit and work amazingly well with my AirPod Pros. **Q: Will these fit AirPods gen 3?** A: No **Q: I have small ears and find airpods to be uncomfortable. With some diligence, you can mold them to make your AirPods fit without having to shove them deep into your ears. However, these will not work with Airpod Pro at all. They block communication on the AirPod Pro and will prevent them from connecting to your phone or iPad. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best AirPod ear hooks. *by M***B on May 14, 2020* These finally solved my problem with insecure fit of Apple AirPods. I love the convenience and quality of AirPods, but they won't stay in my particular ears. I have tried a half-dozen solutions with various sorts of earhooks/wings; none of them have worked-the AirPods eventually work loose as I sweat during a run (I use them to listen to podcasts on daily runs).The Decibullz work great if configured correctly. The company's video is a good primer on how to fit them, but because of the problems I had experienced in the past with other products, I didn't believe they would work with the small amount of forming that the video showed. As a consequence, after warming them up, I used too much finger pressure to try to get the material as firmly as possible into the shape of my ear. This made the fit too tight and caused pain when worn for more than half an hour or so. I then redid the process using the amount of pressure that the video indicated, not pushing the material so tightly into my ear (there's a sweet spot for this); and they now work fine, with no pain even after hours of use.These are not the least expensive alternative, but I would have saved a lot of money in the long run if I had bought these first. They work for me where others don't. ### ⭐ Save your money! bubblegum would work! and be more comfortable. *by S***P on April 26, 2022* Minuses... they did not fit well on earphones, looked like a piece of bubblegum.... and they still fell out of my ears. bummer. On the plus side they were easy to reshape, and the directions were clear and well written. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Make sure you read compatibility *by J***Y on September 28, 2024* Was great for the most part I did not make sure of compatibility, however. It gets a 4 star versus 5 star because they melted in my car. I gave them to my daughter after I figured out they didn’t fit what I had. At some point in our travels they were left in my car and melted.
