Incredibly solid-performing budget projector
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Here’s the deal- I did not expect to be giving this projector a five star review. As a budget projector at a budget price, I was willing to accept lower quality and less than perfect performance to save myself some money. However, I am blown away by this projector. It seriously does such a fantastic job, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone. In fact- I already have. My cousin was looking to switch to a projector for his main entertainment system and he ended up buying this projector at my recommendation- and he loves it as well.We are semi-converting our garage into a movie room, and I am so glad we chose this projector over others. Here’s some spitfire info:The projector is super bright. That said, Because we use it in our garage we can almost always have almost a perfectly dark environment. The picture quality is outstanding. We use a 120” screen, and while filling the screen the clarity and sharpness of the picture is outstanding. The digital keystone and corner adjustment is awesome. On cheap projectors the keystone adjustment is generally minimal and causes bad blurring issues around the corners. Not so on this one- it’s great. It was a lifesaver with our setup because once the screen was mounted it was mounted for good, so being able to make small adjustments to get the picture right on the screen was crucial. The sound is pretty good for a projector too, but if you’re watching anything besides a sitcom or something that doesn’t require better sound, you’ll want to make use of the audio out ports. We use an outdoor speaker (pretty impressive quality) via the aux cord and it works great without any noticeable latency.I don’t pretend to know everything about projectors, because I certainly don’t. But I never expected quality like this from such a low priced projector! It earns every one of those five stars!

Good project if you don’t want to spend much money
Is good projector, nice sound, better than a Epson projector. If we compare this projector with the 3LCD technology the color calibration is in the middle. If you watch movies is good option but if you want to see YouTube for example is bad idea because you will receive over exposure image in white colors, to much white that you can’t see the image correctly. If you buy this projector maybe you will receive a card to reclaim a gift obviously if you make a good comment of this product. I prefer to post here an accurate review and don’t reclaim this gift. I recommend this product if you don’t want to spend much money in a standard projector.

Yes if you don't want to pay $100-150 more.
We first bought a "VANKYO Performance V610" for $240 (it was $280 but included $40 discount). When delivered, it looked like it was used before. then we noticed people's faces were sometimes yellow on the screen. We tried to change the color mode, brightness, etc. but it didn't go away completely. So we returned it and bought a "ViewSonic 3600 Lumens WXGA" for $380.As you can tell from the photos the picture of ViewSonic is brighter. It doesn't have the cloudy-ish parts on the screen. It is better in a room with more light because of its more powerful light. The main problem with ViewSonic is that it can't be adjusted and be on the corner of the room and should be right in front of the screen but other than that it is great. So considering the mentioned con of ViewSonic, if you wanna pay a little more, it is worth to but it; otherwise, VANKYO V610 is still good enough (unless you see the yellow faces too).I give 4 stars to Vanko and 5 to ViewSonic. And I am about to copy/paste the review for the other one :DLink for ViewSonic 3600 Lumens WXGA:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0749NTSCD/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I had issues but customer service hooked me up.
My unit was reseting the corner adjustments randomly, so I contacted the Vankyo customer service team ([email protected]) and they sent me a replacement right away. They were super cool to help and everything appears to be working well now.Other than that, the 610 is awesome for projecting videos from a laptop or playing games. It can be a little laggy-ish, but you get used to it quickly, honestly. This is my second one, it actually runs really nice and the audio is pretty impressive, especially considering the price and overall quality. For budget buyers who want a little more bang for their buck, I definitely recommend the Vankyo 610.

Great True 1080p Projector. Some not-very-noticable focus issues.
I've flipped used projectors for several years, but I bought this one for myself. The first thing I noticed right away is how good-looking it is! Looks great on a ceiling, table, etc. I like the number and placing of the ports; very convenient. I put it on an 80 inch screen and the picture was really beautiful. However, it has a slight but not very noticeable focus problem, even with no keystone: the top left and bottom right corners don't quite focus at the same point. If this is an issue, compromising by simply focusing on the center of the image is the best solution. I gave it 4 stars on image quality, but I am not in the least disappointed overall, so 5 stars it is!

More than we expected
Purchased this as a Christmas gift to my husband. Didn’t know what to expect at the price point since we were looking are some pricier units. We were both pleasantly surprised in many ways. The actual look of the projector is very sophisticated. It doesn’t look like a cheap piece of plastic. The color quality is pretty good. We have to figure out how to adjust some of the color since we noticed faces appear a little orange but other than that, it’s perfect. We have external speakers plugged into it so we don’t have much to say about the actual sound quality from it. We are very happy with the purchase!
