Can I Attach this product to a Miter saw?

You can but I wouldn't recommend it. The canister fills very quickly. You would almost be dumping after every cut. The original bag/sock would achieve the same affect with less hassle.

Despite its relative small size, could this unit also serve as a wet/dry vac?

No. This isn’t designed as a wet vac. Also, the sizeof the collection bin is tiny. About the capacity of a dust buster.

How do you quick connect the dust extractor to a cordless orbital sander?

I'll be honest I do have mines connected but I did have to fashion a small piece of PVC pipe and then shave it to fit oh it works perfectly but that's what I had to do to make it work especially since I use different tools with it but this thing is awesome and I ended up buying three of these they worked so good
