Warner Marine ecoBAK BioPellet Filter Media 500 mL

FINALLY my phosphates and nitrates are under control!!!! My stars aren't just for this brand; I suspect all of the carbon-food products are similar. The stars are for the revolutionary change that the probiotic approach has changed the hobby. Also Warner Marines technical assistance was very helpful. FYI I also run GFO for phosphate reduction, since the carbon pellets seem to be most effective for nitrate reduction, at least until the phosphates are not elevated.

I read so many reviews and product information about this stuff and it was highly recommended. I tried it and it was completely useless! I had it running in a reactor for almost 6 months and it did absolutely nothing! I followed all instructions and it just seemed like a nitrate factory with no change in water chemistry!! Just one more thing to maintain that did not help at all!

Nitrates and phosphates make me laugh now..I chose these also because they use a water extraction method versus solvent.It was the more positive reviewed so I tried it and they indeed work. I only use these and a skimmer in an empty tank with fish, no ill effects, and again, compared to years ago when nitrate was a pain (and phosphate for corals) this makes me lul.
