That way it will fit under door and slide as you open and close door to bedroom.** A: No. **Q: Will this keep out bugs and spiders?** A: It’s a velvet covered roll that stays snug against the door but I definitely think if little critters want in they will get in. I don’t think anything like this will stop that. They can crawl under and around it because they are so small. But I don’t know that for sure.
