It's got Orlando Bloom
What else do you need? It begins to have a dreamlike quality toward the end, and challenges your suspicion of disbelief throughout. Good entertainment.

Ok movie
I received it quickly. Movie was ok. It is a drama about a lonely doctor that goes to dangerous extends to keep a girl in his care.

Total waste of time and money
The preview for this movie was so much more exciting than the movie itself. It moved at a pace that a snail could beat and made no sense in most parts. The connection and on screen chemistry was non existent.

Huh?.....
What? Just.... what? I thought it was a tv show at first by how slowly it was moving. And the ending was just confusing. Love Orlando, loved the concept, but I was just highly confused overall.

The Good Doctor
Bloom does a fair job playing the main character. The plot is failry simple the acting is middle of the road. Personally, I got a little bored with this movie. What amazes me about the movie is how the supporting cast seem to feel he is innocent of any crimes. It so obvious their is something wrong about him.

An unexpected Orlando Bloom role, but a very impressive one
I absolutely adore Orlando Bloom. This movie is definately different from anything he's ever done. Instead of playing the heroic elf or pirate, he plays an egocentric doctor who longs to have power over everyone in his presence, especially his patients. Elvis Presley's granddaughter plays a sick girl who falls victim to Bloom's character; he botches her medications and diagnosis so he can give the illusion that he is trying to nurse her back to health. This is all out of his selfish need to hold power and authority over others. I expected this movie to be s***ty, but I was constantly on my toes. Bloom does an excellent job playing the ironic role of "the good doctor." Also, the ending is absolutely brilliant and highly ambiguous but I won't give it away! I loved this film and highly recommend it, as it is one of the most impressive psychological thrillers I have seen in a long time.

What was that about?..
I cannot pinpoint what was wrong with this film. "The Good Doctor" explores a concept of medical ethics and relationships within hospital walls (and outside of them), it's almost a psychological study of one young ambitious (but unsure of himself) doctor, played by Orlando Bloom, who gets involved in all the wrong things. It's a character study, yet we are not shown any of the internal (or external) struggles that the doctor goes through, it seems he just comes up with the decisions, playing with people's lives (and it is not as if he is some sort of psychopath, or is he?! - we are not really given any clues about that). This is a somewhat intriguing story, which gets better towards the end (when things suddenly become very serious). The final ocean scenes were mesmerising. It seems that the film has all the elements to become a good thriller, yet it is not good enough. There is not enough twists and not enough suspense, and the relationships between the characters are not deep and convincing enough to make you ache for them. Definitely the one to rent.

The good docto
I like it, it explores a very interesting concept of patient/Doctor relationship and breach of ethics. Good performance by Orlando Bloom. The only thing I didn't like was the nurse telling him that all she does is take orders from him and she isn't responsible for a drug error, which Is not true, and as a nurse myself that line made me angry. As it implied that nurses have no skills or knowledge and only follow orders. Which is bull. Other than that it was a very intriguing and captivating story.
