Kölbs Cushions Gel Supreme Wheelchair Seat Cushion, 18 X 16 X 3 Inch

This is advertised to be gel cushion. This was a gift to my father, wheelchair bound due to FTD. Used with no notice of fraud until the other day, when I cleaned the cushion, discovering to be foam.

 Bought cushion month ago. The cushion’s top is not waterproof! I dried the top and sat on it and the cover was wet again. I removed the cover and found that the backside ofthe cover was not sealed backing looked like it had shredded.

This pad worked well for nearly 90 days, but now feels like the Gel pad inside is moving every time I shift in my chair. It seems like the foam on the top of the pad has collapsed leaving only the fluid to cushion my posterior. It has outlasted the previous product I tried, that one only lasted about 10 days before collapse. A pretty good deal for the price; perhaps not made for those that need to use it daily over a period of time..........

The cushion is fairly good, the non slip covering was a safety hazard for me. I kept slipping out my wheelchair, so covered it with cloth pillowcase and still was slipping out of my chair all day long. I threw the original covering away and jus sit the sponge cushion with or without a pillowcase or other covering.

Best pad yet, only one I've found that is comfortable & holds up after sitting for a while. Very good product.!!
