Great little device
A little flimsy when fully extended, but when it’s not fully extended, it is quite stout. A very good contraption that works well. Picks up the brass and leaves the rocks behind.

Works good on hard surfaces
Works great on concreteNo instructionsBox it came in is not sturdy enough to hold it. It literally fell out of box at range, but luckily I found it.For the money they could do better.

Brass broom !!
Wasnt sure if this would work . It works pretty good ! in fact Ill give it 5 stars . There is a learning curve be it a small one but all in all it works good . It will pick up rocks and stuff so it works better on a hard surface but I use it at the IDPA range which is grassy/rocky and don't have too many issues . The biggest issue is if you get a case that doesn't go all the way in , it tends to spread the wires out enough that some captured brass may escape and can get on your nerves but if you go directional on the cases and even in the grass kinda stab at them really does a good job .In my opinion it beats the broom and dustpan .

Very Effective
I read several reviews and was worried about purchasing this product. I had the opportunity to try it out today. I used it in loose but densely packed soil as well as in grassy areas. The key seems to be the angle you hit the brass at and whether it is somehow held in place. The only force used to pull the brass into the cage is the spring tension of the basket itself. Applying excess force to the handle will not help. I picked up 3 pounds of mixed brass at my gun club today. I'll use it tomorrow in an area with a different soil and vegetation mix tomorrow. I expect similarly solid results. A tip from my experiences today. Use a couple of .45 shell slid to either end of a wire section to easily empty the brass into a container.

Good for picking up a lot of brass.
It's works well for picking up the brass. It is kind of a pain in the but to use the piece that helps the brass come out. Half of the time I just use my hands to open up the basket. I do think it is worth the money if you reload. Good to pick up a lot of brass in a short amount of time. Never had any problems with the pole or cage being weak or unstable, quality material.

Received Repackaged Defective Items
Very disappointed. Had to return this item twice. Both times i received an item that looked like it was returned before and just shipped out again to someone else-which someone was me. Very disappointed in Caldwell. Both items were defective where the handle would collapse down with just a little pressure. You expect more from a company like Caldwell. I have lots of other items from them, but going into the future I’ll have to think twice about it.

This thing is great
Sure beats picking them up by hand. It’s not perfect, and it doesn’t get all the brass all the time, but it gets 85%-90% of them, which is a lot better than picking up 100% of them by hand. A piece gets hung up from time to time and it will spit a few back out, but like I said it’s not perfect. Name one thing in this life that is.I don’t know about the piece that is supposed to hook on the side of the bucket and spread the wires to empty the brass. It seems to me that just grabbing the thing and spreading the wires by hand and shaking it a few times is quicker, easier and a hellofa lot les complicated. But that’s just me.Handle is a little flimsy, and the tension extensions don’t stay tight, but you can thread a regular or adjustable paint roller extension on to the wire cage and solve that problem if it bothers you that much.I’m glad I bought it, but it’s a little pricey so I hope it lasts for a few years.

Perfetto
Per chi come me ricarica e ha necessità di recuperare bossoli talvolta anche di fretta è perfetto in più per la mia schiena è un piacere !!!
User
Worth it
Worth it if you do any really shooting. This thing picks up everything from 22 to 12 ga brass I've only used it on grass and it still works great. You definitely need to use a bit of pressure. But it sure beats bending over to pick up the brass.
