Horrible and a waste of money!
I bought 2 of these for my kids TV's in their room. They just came tonight and after following all of the directions and try to scan the QR code it keeps saying, "enviornment too dark. Turn of the flash and try again" our children's rooms are very bright so I don't know how bright they are expecting it to be and there isn't an option within the app to turn on a flash so I tried turning on the flashlight on my phone and it blocks me. These are junk and I am returning them. For the price I paid I could have gotten a chromecast which I already have on our living room TV so I'll just stick to what I know and replace these with a couple more chromecasts. Save yourself the headache and don't waste your money buying this product.

I had high hopes...
Once this is connected to your device it works pretty well for most things. It is not easy to setup and you spend a lot of time trying to download apps and scanning the tv screen to get it moving. I really got it to watch Amazon Prime movies and it doesn't work for that. It worked for Youtube and some other video streaming sites, but not Amazon. I do not have Netflix, so I cannot speak to that. I spent time online searching for a fix and even contacted what I thought was the company to no avail or response).

this is perfect for mirroring content from your phone
It needs a wired internet connection for the signal to not drop. It works really well with wired ethernet. It is easy to use. On wifi the signal keeps dropping after a little while. Also it is good for mirroring content on the phone not any copyrighted material such as on prime or netflix. YouTube, google photos mirroring is okay too. Works perfect with mirroring Karoke apps. As the power comes from USB, it is better to supply it from a stable power source which does not go to standby, which will switch it off. Good for people who are buying it now. It used to be 29.99 now it is only 20.99. I have used it for a year.

Only mirrors phone
This gadget will play videos only if they are short, but not movie length--I guess because they are copyright. The only way to do it is to download it into your laptop instead of using it with your phone and at that point, why bother using it? Just grab your HDMI cord and forget this thing altogther. I bought 2. One for my son and another for myself. Both functioned equally bad.

disconnected
It kept disconnecting had to put in my old equipment not very good, I would have to reconnect my android device. Tried to connect via QR CODE but it kept trying to connect. I rebooted my android phone I even tried another phone. This should not be that difficult.

Unstable and poor quality signal
Very poor FPS when streaming from a Mac, both when connecting Mac directly to Leelbox wifi (which itself isn't convenient at all btw since you lose wifi internet access this way) and when using double ethernet link (Leelbox-router-Mac).Better quality when connecting iPhone and Android, but the signal is very unstable, loses connection every few minutes, impossible to fast forward youtube video on iPhone.Bottomline: not recommended at all.

The directions are awful.
The product is easy to use once set up, and for me the connection is great. The misspellings in the directions - especially the misspelling of the name of the required app, just about made me scream so I have deducted points for that.

not so good
It is difficult to connect it to phone. turn off and turn on many times will ley you connect through it. time consuming.
