Andersen Valley baskets are known for their hand painted (tole art style) tops. We are now offering stained oak top baskets that can be used for picnic events or as pie, cake delivery. We started off by selecting a larger sized basket (14" by 14") that would allow for either a large cake or 2 pies to be accommodated the main compartment. In fact with the traditional pie divider removed our basket will accommodate two "Vons's Grocery" style plastic pie enclosures! This is a handy feature that keeps gift pies sealed tight prior to that special event. We added a ¼ inch thick cabinet grade oak plywood top CNC cut by "Hollands Cabinets" in San Diego. We added a "SHAKER" style loop & dowel latch assembly along with brass hinges to finish off the piece.
