Will these work?** A: yeas but you should use extra, (Larger than the button) piece of vinyl to keep from tearing out. **Q: What is the diameter of these snaps? Are they 5/8" snaps?** A: I think they are line 24. Cap Diameter: 15mm /0.59inch Stud Diameter: 13mm /0.51inch Socket Diameter: 14mm/0.55inch Post Diameter: 13mm/0.51inch **Q: Would these fasteners go through velcro straps?** A: No, the ones I purchased were too low quality to work on Velcro straps. Also the holes were not big enough to connect the two snap pieces together without damaging the snap. **Q: Do I need a special tool to install these?** A: yes ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice *by G***S on December 14, 2019* Be very careful the hole punch very brittle and ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As described *by S***N on April 25, 2025* These are rather nice. Functional and nice looking. Keep in mind that this has a bright silvery color and may not work well with all other colors. Easy to recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good corrosion resistance. *by ⚓***️ on August 8, 2026* Good snap holding strength. Good quality stainless but a bit too thin. They tend to split when setting, even with proper setting tools. Okay for light duty applications. ## Frequently Bought Together - 108pcs 15mm Stainless Steel Fastener Snap Press Stud Cap Button Marine Boat Canvas Line 24(4 Components, 27pcs for Each) - CENOZ 150 PCS Canvas Snap Kit Tool, Metal Screws Snaps Marine Grade 3/8" Socket Stainless Steel Boat Canvas Snaps with 2 PCS Setting Tool for Boat Cover Furniture (150 PCS) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/166879925-108pcs-15mm-stainless-steel-fastener-snap-press-stud-cap-button](https://www.desertcart.be/products/166879925-108pcs-15mm-stainless-steel-fastener-snap-press-stud-cap-button) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
