USB Digital Microscope, Handheld 40X-1000X Magnification Endoscope, 8 LED Mini Video Camera for Windows 7/8/10 Mac Linux Android

The drivers for this are not compatible with core isolation on Win11. The only way to install is to turn off core isolation; once the drivers are loaded isolation cannot be turned on. The supplied stand is lightweight so it tends to fall over. A scale is supplied so the size of objects can be estimated and I find it much easier to view images on screen as opposed to looking through a lens. With a better stand this could be very useful. Edit With the Bysameeyee stand the microscope is much more usable as the zoom can be set on the rotary control on the microscope and fine focussing done with the rack and pinion on the stand. Part of the zoom range is within the clear lens hood and only possible to use with small objects. The magnification depends on the size of the window or monitor screen. Maximum magnification full screen on my 290 mm wide screen is X285 when the focus is about 4.5mm from the clear lens hood. When the supplied scale is in contact with the clear lens hood the magnification is X73, at about 22mm from clear lens hood the magnification is X40. The first image is part of a steel rule with 1mm divisions, the second part of the supplied scale with 0.1mm squares. The main problem remains that the supplied driver is not compatible with core isolation in Windows 11 and there is no uninstall option. Trying to uninstall the software in Control Panel produces an error message reporting missing uninstall.dll. I restored a backup of my operating system made before I installed the Amcam software, then the microscope worked perfectly without installing any additional software so no problems with core isolation. This is now a very interesting item to use and the support I have had as been very good so I have now given it five stars. I suggest if you buy one try it without installing any software and maybe fasten the supplyed stand to a more substantial base.

What a wonderful microscope It feels to be well constructed and came with solid a zip-case that holds the microscope and stand securely. There is also a little additional space to add a few tools (Tweezers probes etc) While not exactly plug and play with my PC and phone it was very quick to get set up. The photos were taken in around 10 minutes from opening the box. A good set of setup instructions come with the microscope. (The supplier’s website has these also if like me you need a larger font.) Adjustable illumination is a nice feature and useful, for example, when looking a circuit board that have a protective (reflective) varnish. Not that this is its intended use, it was the first thing that came to hand Very good magnification. The picture quality is sharp and doesn’t show any distortion around the edges throughout the magnification range. I can see me having a lot of fun with this and suspect that once on the desk in my study will spend little time back in its case! All in all, good hobby microscope that is easy to use and portable. I suspect it would be a useful addition to an inspection workshop or field engineer (Could have done with this 20 years ago!)

Good value for money - simple plug-and-play, and picture quality is good. Worked fine on my computer but I couldn't get it to operate on my Android phone, which led to a series of emails between the seller and myself that showed that the after-care is excellent! Even though in the end I couldn't get camera and phone to talk to each other it wasn't for lack of effort from the seller, who emailed advice and sent extra bits of equipment to try to solve the issue.

What a great little microscope, (5 Stars) It looks and feels to be well put together and even came with a zip-case that keep everything together. There's even room for a couple of screw drivers in my case. It was pretty simple set up almost plug and play. I like the adjustable 8 LED illumination feature, this is helpful with anything under the Microscope that glare. Setup instructions come with the microscope but you can always download them from the web site. Very good magnification. The picture quality is sharp and doesn’t show any distortion around the edges Throughout the magnification range. I can see this being very useful for me. All in all, a very good microscope for the price that is easy to use and I will be using this microscope mainly for circuit boards and have found it very useful. Make no mistake, this product is outstanding value. Really well presented in its storage case and well built. The recommended software download from the website is equally good: no frills and really easy to use. Good clear images are easy to achieve, and with a bit more adjustment of the led illumination and focus you can get into some really useful magnified details. As with any magnified image it can be sensitive to small movements so it takes a bit of careful dexterity to adjust focus or move position, but it's well worth the effort for the images it returns. One of my favourite bits of tech so far this year. Wish I'd bought one years ago! Had a bit of trouble connecting up with my phone, but these guys customer service is outstanding: 1 short email for help and I got exactly the advice I needed...total customer satisfaction!

Loved it and it worked great with the app for about a month. Then the app stopped opening the camera and no amount of uninstalling/reinstalling has worked. The camera is now useless. Really shame as my kid loved it for the short time it worked.

Shows pictures of use while repairing electronics but the scope had to be so close to the item it would have been impossible to use.

Cons: - stated magnification is just number that can't be comapred with real scopes - mount is flimsy and hard to use on max magnification, you'd rather attach it to something sturdy - focusing distance moves when you adjust magnification and for significant part of the range it is inside the scope tube, as a result it is only usable close to 1000x and from the middle of the range down to 40x - case quality is super low Pros: - its a UVC webcam and works with any software, visible as /dev/videoX. can just use vlc. - picture quality is ok-ish

I got this but it doesnt fit my phone and even when I found an application on windows device it worked poorly. Also it shows that it comes with a cse. Well. There is no case.. I dont recommend it at all.

小さいものの大きさまでしっかり見たいと思ったが、撮影したときにスケールを表示できそうなものははっきり書いて無くてわからなかった。この商品はルーラー（定規）がついており最悪定規との対比で分かると思い購入した。結果としてPCに「CoolingTech Microscope」のソフトをインストールすることで、画像にスケールも入れることが可能になった。2000円台の価格で1000倍が可能でスケールも表示できるのは素晴らしい。 PCにインストールする際の注意（マニュアルは英語です） coolingtech microscopeと 日本語で検索すると参考になるマニュアルがありますが肝心なことは記載されていないので注意 (a) レンズカバーを外す (b) ソフトをインストール CoolingTech Microscopeが私的にはスケール表示できる点で気に入っている、ほかにwindows10のカメラやAmcap、 xploviewがある 問題1：USBデジタル顕微鏡をソフトが認識しない→webカメラが競合していたのでwebカメラを外すことで認識した 問題2：スケールが初期設定のままで変更できない→CoolingTech Microscopeソフトをダブルクリックで起動させず、右クリックでadministratorとして実行を選んで起動で変更できた。 撮影例 （１） レンジフードフイルタ（レンジフードを油汚れから守る） フイルター奥まで見えるように透過で撮影。目は粗く0.2mm程度の穴が見える。 （２） エアコンフイルタ（エアコンの外に張り付けて花粉粉塵をキャッチ） レンジフードフイルタよりかなり密に詰まっている。0.1mm以下の穴で繊維が密に詰まっている部分もあるが、0.1mm程度の穴が開いている部分もある。花粉30-40ミクロン（0.03-0.04mm）を完全には取れそうもない。商品の説明としては「花粉・ほこりなどをしっかりキャッチ＊花粉などを完全にカットするものではありません」と記載されており、しっかり逃げの一手を打っている （３）マスク1 （ 3層構造不織布マスク、花粉やウイルス飛沫を95％以上カット） 外側の層でも0.1mm以下で密に詰まっている、空いている部分も奥にさらに繊維が見える。 花粉はほとんどキャッチされると思われる。 （４）マスク2 （ 立体4層構造不織布マスク＜KN-95＞ 柳葉型(ダイヤモンド型)、KN認証規格0.3ミクロンサイズの粒子の侵入を約95%以上遮断） 外側の層でも10ミクロン以下に詰まっている部分から50ミクロン程度穴が開いた部分がある、内部の層はもっと密なのかもしれないが見えない。

Received this on a Friday, and spent hours on that Friday evening with my 2 kids (15 and 19) running around finding things to examine with it. They gathered leaves, coins, pond water and lots of other stuff just to satisfy their curiosity about what "things" looked like under the microscope. Getting started can be a bit fiddly, especially with using it with an Android phone. There are a lot of apps on the Play store with similar names, and it didn't work with several of them. It's best to download software from the recommended website or use the included CDROM if possible. There is a light control wheel which changes the brightness of the LEDs on the cord, and the zoom is a nice big drum-dial on the barrel of the microscope. The stand can be a bit awkward because it tends to move around while you are adjusting the zoom/focus, but hand-holding at lower zoom levels (for example, when looking at insects) is perfectly acceptable. Sharpness can sometimes feel a little weak, but is quite good for a low-cost device, in my opinion. This might be the best money I have ever spent on Amazon just for the fun and education factor. In the pictures I have attached to this review, I captured images of 2 quarters. One is 41 years old (1979) and the other is more recent (2016). Seeing the incredible difference in wear is a fascinating way of showcasing the capabilities of this device. I wouldn't recommend this if you're doing cancer research or diagnosing blood disorders, but for anyone who wants to work on electronics, examine coins, check out insects or take a casual journey into the microcosm, this is a great little inexpensive device to get you started. I would definitely recommend it.

Worst product and no use of it , absolutely rubbish . For the first time we have experienced this bad behaviour of Amazon and the service about the return policy is also rubbish.

On branche le microscope sur un port USB, on télécharge le(s) logiciel(s) et cela fonctionne immédiatement. C'est bluffant. Le microscope permet de voir à l'écran les détails qui ne sont pas visibles à l’œil nu (ou mieux voir pour ceux qui ont une vue déficiente !!). C'est du bonheur de pouvoir s'affranchir de loupes ! Au delà de cette utilisation de confort, il permet d'effectuer des soudures sur des petits composants facilement. Je regrette que le mat d'origine soit un peu court mais une potence est disponible sur le site du constructeur si besoin.
