Yes not all of them sprout, some beans are split, maybe 1of1000 **Q: Do these contain soy and can you use these mung beans for your face mask** A: Mung beans are nothing to do with soy. **Q: I buy from Indian stores for 5 bucks is 15 dollars worth it?** A: Definitely NOT! If you use them for sprouting anyway, They are completely unusable for that purpose. About 2/3 of them float and won't sprout! **Q: What does "gluten friendly" mean? It says they are produced in a facility that also processes wheat?** A: The beans themselves are gluten-free.
