Sugaring Paste Luxury Pro – Delicate - Paste for light hair, 43 oz – Professional Skills Required

This product is great. I probably should have gone with the medium consistency. It is rock hard in the jar, so I will have to invest in a warmer. However, I took the company suggestion and used it without one for my first trial. It worked wonders on my long course hair. I can’t shave because hair bumps always develop even with a new razor. I don’t like using unnecessary chemicals so depilatories are out of the question. Given the current crisis, I am not going to the salon.Patience is key if you have never done sugar waxing. You will get the hang of it. I am glad I purchased the waxing sticks. Those sticks helped with keeping the possible mess at bay.

I’ve been getting Sugar Brazilians regularly every 6 weeks for 3 years but since my esthetician isn’t working right now I had no other option but to buy this and try for myself! I would typically pay 60$ each time!! So after using this it was so worth the money and I’ll get so many uses out of it. After watching the way she did it so many times I felt comfortable doing it myself. I did not have nitrile gloves on hand But it was fine without. I can say compared to having it done for you, doing it yourself doesn’t hurt whatsoever! I was so pleased with how easy it was to use. I only had to use a small amount too... with the product that was left when I was done with my brazillian I sugared my forearms as well which I had never done and now they are very smooth :)

This was my first experience with sugaring and it turned out to be much easier than anticipated. I needed to warm the paste a little and the first time, I warmed it too much but it's not hard to figure it out. Also, using the paste was really easy. Bikini area was much more difficult, but it did get easier the 3rd time around. I would advice starting with legs or underarms to get the hang of it. Also, I needed to work with a fan in the room, because if you start sweating, the paste is useless.

For me it was hard to use, painful, and frankly a sticky mess. I tried really hard to make this product work for me. Watches several tutorials and practiced a lot. I’ve gotten through half the tub now and improved over time but it’s just not worth the hassle in comparison to other kinds of waxing. Unless you do it just right it doesn’t pull the hair out and it ends up just pulling the skin off your body instead. Much more painful than any other self waxing I’ve used. Unless you’re trained in sugaring. I wouldn’t recommend buying this product as a newer waxer. One good thing about it is you can wash it off of your skin if it gets stuck to you. Which happened to me a lot 😅

The packaging was marvelous so there was no damage upon arrival! The sugar itself is definitely hard to get out (hard sugar) with gloves (don’t use gloves on yourself) but easier to scoop out w/the warmth of my hands. I did not need to soften the sugar at all just needed patience while sticking my fingers into the sugar to soften it. I started off trying it on my legs and it took majority of the hair off even though I had shaved 3 days prior so I’ll wait probably longer next week. Once I got the flow of applying the sugar up and pulling down towards the way the hair grows I moved up to my arms and armpits ! Then got carried away and did my face. I got so comfortable I did my own Brazilian which I have to say was so easy! Because my sugar lady as been closed I took the chance and tried it myself which for the price of the sugar compared to what I pay getting the service done... I trust myself to do it now monthly! Don’t get me wrong it’s painful when you have corse hair but being able to do it myself now will definitely change the hair growth eventually. Cleaning wise it’s so easy just rubbing it off in the shower w/warm water, if you continue using the same ball it gets really sticky with you’re own body heat so just had to change the ball as soon as it gets super tacky.

If this is for beginners, why is it called pro? It’s awful. The instructions say, use with gloves. It’s so sticky, it tears gloves apart. I managed to soften it enough to try it (microwave), used a small amount and a strip and it ripped out hair and skin!! TRASH!

Since COVID-19 has all the waxing salons closed, I chose to order this for my wife to try at home. She has never waxed herself. I helped her use this for her underarms.She says she has very coarse hair and this was a great product to give a clean area. Please follow all instructions especially if you are not a professional. Product can be very sticky and messy but if you're willing to put up with the slight pain it is WORTH it. Looks just like the Brazilian salons results.

I love this product and the service. The package arrived quickly and was wrapped very well - so there's no chance for damage. The container and label looked very professional. I liked the fact that it was transparent and I could see the paste. At first I couldn't get it out but information on the company website helped a lot - I warmed it up and easily scooped it out. The quality is amazing - though not being a pro I managed to quickly do my legs. I didn't need to go over the same area many times: the paste stuck to the hairs just right and removed all the hair on a certain area with one try! I'll certainly buy it again and will try the paste of different density as well!
