A mishap during balloon setup leaves Nancy hanging by her ankles several feet off the ground, a situation that becomes even trickier when an fleeing bank robber hijacks the balloon. He escapes with a million in cash, pursued by the River Heights police and two angry bankers. When bad weather closes in, the police back off, but the two bankers insist on continuing the pursuit into dangerous mountain terrain. Naturally, Nancy and her friends will follow, to find more than one surprise waiting for them on top."What Goes Up..." is an exciting and entertaining story in which Nancy pits her detective skills and ability to adapt against some ruthless criminals.
