Sugar Doesn't Fully Mask the Flax
I bought these for my daughter, to supplement her Omega 3's. Generally I try to make sure she gets some dietary sources, but it's harder since she's gone vegetarian. She doesn't like chia, although she's willing to eat a chocolate chia pudding I make, but I have to dump more sugar then I would like in it before it will pass muster with her. Like another reviewer mentioned, these only have ALA. Which is something I didn't pay so much attention to when I bought it. I would have been happier if it had the EPA and the DHA. I also would have been happier if it had omega 6.My daughter had a couple of these, and she liked the taste, she said they were good. Now, I think that's because they use a fair bit of sugar to try and mask the flax oil taste, which you can still detect (I tried one too). So I think my verdict on these is that the taste isn't totally offensive, but there is a detectable flax oil influence that makes it off despite the sugar. And to me personally, it tasted way too sugary. So it could be hit or miss with your kiddo. And while it's better then nothing when it comes to the omega 3 supplementation, it doesn't have the two compounds that are considered most beneficial when it comes to omega 3s. So I'd say, this is an ok product that could be better with some tweaking.

I bought these for my 6 year old son who I have been trying to get some omega 3 in. The first few days he was really excited to take them, but now he fights me to take them. i do eventually get them down, with his washing them down with juice right after. My 4 year old at this point likes to take them as well, my girls who are 8 and 4 hate them. I haven't sampled one personally b/c I cannot get past the smell of them when I open the bottle. It's not a fish smell, but it is a very different smell for me and makes me want to gag. I will continue to give these to the kids until they run out, but I think we will be looking for a different source of Omega 3 somewhere else.

Nutrabear is outstanding
Nutrabear is very interested in quality control, they are conscientious about delivering an excellent product. And they have succeeded in providing a quality product with excellent packaging. Nutrabear offers several different types of gummy vitamins and combination vitamins. We have been using the melatonin ones for our special needs child as a natural sleep aid for several months. We have since purchased all of the varieties Nutrabear offers, and couldn't be more pleased. These are perfect for our children (and I confess they are somewhat a "treat" for us adults as well!!). The consistency is perfect, and the packaging makes it possible to mail order vitamins with out them sticking together in one clump. This is a major drawback to any gummy vitamins. But Nutrabear consistently delivers vitamins of good quality and damage free - even in the hotter months when typically gummies stick. Best gummy on the market!

This product is a great alternative to fish oil pills
This product is a great alternative to fish oil pills, by the spoonful, or trying to get family to eat fish. I bought this for my sisters back home because I want to make sure they get all the Omega 3 they can. I know they don't eat fish. The only complaint I heard from any of them if the smell from the bottle. Otherwise, they taste just like orange gummies. A nice sweet candy. There are easy to go down and pack a healthy amount of Omega 3. Highly recommended for any age. I can tell you my mother was very thankful for such a great find.

Don't buy this! Do your research.
First off when I look for a vitamin weren't that it has the minerals and nutrients necessary. Been looking for myself and my family members I try to make it be as organic and natural as possible. I thought this would be a good fit for my toddlers. Unfortunately after I purchased it I realized that the omega-3 comes in the form of ALA not DHA or EPA. ALA is pretty much useless in the body gets so much of it already through things like all of oil that doesn't really help. As far as brain I etc. function and development you want the other two. I tried to reach out and explain this was a mistake on my order and the seller didn't really care. I was going to pay a bunch of money to ship them back so now I just have to throw them out. On top of all that I open them and tried on myself and they smell terrible there's no way there's anything natural about this product and I would never give it to my kids. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your health and nutrition.

It's ok, but it's only ALA
Disappointed I didn't pay attention this is ONLY ALA. No DHA or EPA. We will still use them but I can get ALA easily from the flax oil we already eat. I will give it to my kids, though, who really don't get much of any Omega 3. Better than nothing!

taste complaints seem off base
The price more than doubled since I purchased this a couple months ago! However, this is a good product, and I disagree with the other reviewers who have complained about the taste. This is NOT a candy, but these gummies are quite tasty for an Omega 3 supplement.

These are the only omega 3 vitamins that my 7 year autistic daughter will eat. They do have a slight off putting smell when you open the jar. But the taste is not so bad. My daughter scarfs them down like candy and my 1.5 and 3 year old eat them just fine too. My oldest 10 year old son is the only one that makes a bit of a fuss and I told him to just plug his nose and that worked.
