A recent, but irregular, problem with "swollen feet" has left me frustrated with having to hunt through my shoes to locate a pair that will fit on my "swollen days", when it seems like even my biggest won't do. I purchased these, hoping that I could, at last, have one "fail safe" pair that would have sufficient "give" to enable me to wear them without a lot of hassle getting them on & off (e.g., like tying & untying laces). And I have been extremely pleased upon receipt to learn that these appear to meet my criteria - the upper portion of the shoe is quite flexible in stretching to accommodate a swollen foot. While I have not yet actually worn the shoes outside, my initial impression "test-walking" them in the house is that they are also quite comfortable - with lots of padding to protect your heels from being "slapped" against the pavement. Have to admit, though, that the shoes are fairly ugly - and there is absolutely nothing dainty about them - if anything, they somewhat maximize the size of your feet. But, I am happy with my purchase - and trying to decide on a color for my next "boat".

I had a pair of Sketcher Shape Ups that disintegrated after being repaired twice. I wanted another pair of rocker soles but didn't want to pay the big price tag. These work better for me than the more expensive Sketchers, and have a lower price tag. The upper is mesh, but you can't see through it. They are lighter weight so your legs don't get as tired. The sole is more firm so you get more of a rocking motion. If you need a rocker sole, these are well worth the price. The rocker sole has a slightly different shape than the Sketchers, with the sole curving under the ball of the foot instead of under the arch, so you don't get the same arch support.. Then again, it is easier to roll off the toe of these shoes, which is good for some foot /ankle issues.

Bought these shoes because I was having issues transferring from a fracture boot into sneakers due to swelling and a neuroma. The previous expensive, wide sneakers I purchase for the weening process just made my neuroma worse. I was about to give up and then found a review where someone said these shoes are great when your foot is swollen. While these shoes are not quite my style, they feel like i am walking on clouds. No neuroma pain and doesn't cause my toe area to swell like the sneakers. Best purchase I've made all year. So excited to be walking again pain free :)

I needed a light weight shoe that was all black for work. I needed something that allowed you to be on your feet all day and walk for miles. I’ve had these about a year and wear them every day. I’ve washed them a few times in the washing machine and let air dry. They still look and feel brand new. I’ve lost 50 lbs and my shoe is no longer wide width so I’m ordering a second pair in a smaller size. I used to wear a 7.5 W so I ordered an 8 and it was perfect fit. I’m plan to order a 7 since I’ve lost weight. The first pair fit very true to size so I assume the second pair will as well. By the way these are the most light weight shoes I’ve owned and are great for Int’l travel and all day sightseeing. They are my most favorite shoe for comfort.

I love these shoes, they are light,soft,and very comfortable. You can't go wrong with this tennis shoe. I will be ordering another pair in a different color. Thanks Amazon

Have tried stretching and does not work. Will give away because hurt to wear. The next size up is too big and I keep tripping on my feet. Can't win in this product.

I have been wearing them when I go on my walks; this shoes are very comfortable. They provide the extra support for those people that do not like wearing flat shoes, like myself. I order a size 7 and there is enough room in them to wear socks. I have not been wearing socks and they still feel comfortable enough.

These shoes are a life-saver. They are soft and light and gives excellent support. Moreover, I broke my second toe after two days while I had them off in the house. When I had to slip them on again, there was almost no pain and superb support and therefore I can walk now the whole day and put my toe in a splint at night...really, a life-saver …!
