The Romantic Ukulele: Arranged & Performed by Tony Mizen A Jumpin' Jim's Ukulele Songbook

Definitely worthwhile
A few of the pieces in this book are a bit hokey. I mean, John Philip Sousa may have fit the time frame, but I don't think of him as "romantic" at all.Others are exquisite. Tony is one of the best uke arrangers out there. His CD with performances of his arrangements is really top notch and fun to listen to on its own.If you've owned his other books, you already know you'd like this, too.

Fingerpicking the classics
I love it but I didn’t realize it was only for fingerpicking, not chords, but still it’s good songbook. Especially if you want to do intermediate level of fingerpicking.

Another great classical book
Another book that fits well with the rest of the series. I find the first book has the highest percentage of playable tunes, this and the second book are about equal with songs I think are worth playing. From what I've seen so far the Tony Mizen books are the best ukulele classical song collection book series and this entry fits in with the others

Please make the cd songs available for digital downloads.
As far as the book goes, I like the song selection and notation/tabs are easy to read. I don't give 5 stars because I just can't find a way to get the cd songs online. I've seen that hal leonard's website features some audio samples for a couple of songs, but there's no way for me to download them.

Excellent
Same kind of quality than the other RENAISSANCE and BAROQUE ukulele books of Tony MIZEN. All three are excellent. Probably ideal for intermediate players but also convenient for beginners who want to work seriously the fingerpicking with classical repertoire.

Very nice but if you only have a basic soprano instrument ...
Very nice but if you only have a basic soprano instrument like mine you many not have enough frets for some of these arrangements (Moonlight requires a high C on a 15th fret). Not a problem with the Lute to Uke book by the same author.
