We had a rat in our house and this product kept it out of our pantry. It had gotten in there under the door and ate a lot of food. We tried cheaper plastic trim and it chewed through that. Our pantry doors were an odd size but I just ordered two and was able to cut them down using tin snips. Install was easy, I appreciate the extra screws it came with. Looks good and kept the rat out after putting it up and we were shortly able to starve it out and catch it.

Our garage door to the outside had a similar strip, but over time it had weakened, and we were concerned cold/hot air and/or mice might be able to get into the garage under the door. I bought this, cut it to the right length and installed it on the door so it blocked that area under the door. It seems to be working great.

Too long

After two field mice invaded my house a year and a half ago, I blocked a half inch gap under the door from the crawl space to the laundry room with the Baining metal door sweep. Cutting and installing the door blocker was not difficult and the three vertical slots allow adjustment of the height to clear a low pile mat when the door is opened. To be sure the mice are stopped in the crawl space, I installed the blocker on the crawl space side and added two wood threshold strips past the blocker so that the height of the space under the door was less than the width of a pencil. Since then, no mice have made it from the crawl space into the house.

My parents had mice trying to chew through door from garage to laundry room.After a few days of searching reviews and sweep guards, only this company said what I needed to hear in their description.Trust your purchase to be just what you need to stop rodents.Take a neasorement and check it again as item has a strip of adhesive on it that's hard to release in an unsent position.Looks good as is working flawlessky.

I used this to keep mice out of the backyard shed. It was easy to install and it works so far.

This sweep is 50mm (1.97") high, not the 2-1/2" high as shown in the third photo. 50mm was too short for the 1-1/2" gap under my door. As I didn't have time to find another sweep, I replaced the 1/4" high rubber strip with a fabricated a 3/4" high rubber strip.To cut it to length for my 32" wide door (31" at stops) removed one of the screw slots. I had to drill and file a new slot.I am not happy with this purchase. I wish the listing would have been accurate so I could have bought one that filled my requirements

While waiting on a replacement door to come in and to be installed, I ordered this as a temporary fix. It came bent (almost certain this was a result of poor handling by UPS) and I believe that is what made the product not perfect. Requested a replacement, but never received. The adhesion seemed to be on the wrong side, going by the purpose of the product. The screws that came with it would not go through the metal and I had to get screws that would work with my metal door. However, despite these small inconveniences, it's still a good product that I would purchase again.
