Loved it! Tips for using the sugar paste
Ok, I guess I'm getting hooked on this thing. Half a year ago I got tired of shaving and decided to go for a wax epilation. Didn't like it. It was painful, I didn't get perfectly clean skin and I got a terrible irritation and itching. I heard a lot about sugar epilation and decided to give epilation a second try. I tried to find a sugaring salon which was a very difficult task - it seems that no one is doing sugaring. But I liked it much better - no pain, no irritation - and the skin is sooooo smooth and silky!Next level - I found sugar paste on Amazon, because sugaring is freakin' expensive. Even with first 2-3 times of trial and error( mostly error, duh) it's so much cheaper to buy the paste and do sugaring at home ( I am also so busy that it's hard to make an apointment and the nearest salon is still very far)Here's the things I learnt the hardest way:1) Buy good before and after products: cleaning solutions, good talc ( I used simple corn starch from my kitchen cabinet, it did the job but I'm buying a professional talc next time)2) Use Nitrile gloves. NITRILE. I bought the cheapest ones and they were a mess - got stuck to the paste, than to each other, then got ripped - so I didnt even get to applying the paste on my skin ( lol)3) apply the paste in thick layer - if yu're not a super professional ( like me) make sure you have enough paste to hold on to. - The thicker I applied it, the easier it was to remove it.4) Apply the paste against the hair growth and rip it off along the hair growth. Doesn't sound logical and it took me some time and bunch of youtube videos to figure it out. But as soon as I did - no irritation and red dots!5) Bikini zone is still terrible - I realized that when I use small portion of the paste, it's easier and less painful. But it takes more time, and the skin gets hot, so the paste melts and sticks, so i wasn't able to do the whole bikini zone ( i mean deep bikini) in one go If anyone has some ideas, please sare. Also, does anyone know how to sugar very deep? I don't dare to do full Brazilian ( don't want to tear off some precious parts along with sugar, lol)6) Heat the paste in a pot or bowl with hot water ( Put it in the water in the container, make sure the water doesn't get in!) If you heating it in microwave, 10-15 secs is enough ( I overheated the first small container I bought and had to throw it away)7 ) Spatula An amazing tool I found at the Sugaring Factory website. My hands are not very strong and it was very difficult for me to scoop the paste out. Not any more! So, all in all I am super excited, especially when I get more and more experienced working with sugar paste. It's inexpensive, I can do it any time I am ready, painless - yay!

Ordered for the 3rd time
I only use it for bikini and it saved me lots of money! One pack lasts for like 5-6 months. In New York the price for bikini wax is $45+. Sugar paste works better for me than regular wax (sensitive skin), plus easy to do touch ups if I want to. This paste gets tiny hairs too.I don’t use gloves, it’s easier without them, just baby powder. Also, always make sure your hair is not too long and you are not doing this before your period.Took about 2 times to learn how to use this, but now it takes me only 20 mins. Will keep buying.

Works great
I got this to use as a brazilian wax on my wife. I watched a couple youtube videos to learn the basics, and it did not take long to get the hang of it. It works well and is easier to use than hot wax. My wife said that it feels about the same pain level as hot wax, but is less messy and a little goes a long way. Removed 95% of the hair and tweezed the rest for a smooth sexy result. My wife and I both love this!

Take this out of your cart, nubesauce.
Ok, I own that my suffering from this product is probably more due to my inexperience than the product itself, but I will never try this again. I have used nads to some success and the ladies who have sugared my downstairs made it look so easy. I will also own that my winter legs reminded me of Luther from Umbrella Academy at a rave. But, OH MOTHERFORKING SHIRTBALLS, this sucked. The instructions said to use nitrile gloves and use the sugaring paste till it stuck to my fingers. It never /didn't/ stick to my fingers. It also sometimes stuck to me and tangled in the hair, usually coming off painfully by applying more goo or just picking it out till it did its intended purpose. Also, I used the whole tub and didn't finish my legs. Also, now my legs are covered in grumpy red razor burn type dots and a few spots have burst capillaries in the hair follicle. Also, fellow yetis, in case you didn't know, hair grows in three two week cycles, and this paste will not take off anything shorter than 3 mm(which they say) but it means your legs may not be silky smooth after if you've shaved in the past 6-8 weeks. So basically, if you're a nube, buyer beware. Put it down and find a local sugaring esthetician. It will cost a shirtwad, but your results will be much better.

Never shaving again!
I bought this three months ago but have only now worked up the courage to give myself a brazilian. I had one professionally done two years ago and as someone with very low pain tolerance in that area, have been terrified to get another one ever since. However, when you're doing it to yourself, you are so focused on technique and final product that it doesn't hurt half as much as I remembered when all I was doing was laying there. I purchased the hard consistency, and it was perfect for that area. I think I would use the same for my legs as well. One container is enough for about two brazilians when a beginner is using it very generously on a humid summer day. Tip: have a desk fan blowing at you to keep the sweating minimalized.Update, I just googled how to make your own sugar paste, and for just a couple of dollars you can make huge amounts of this stuff. After making my own batch on the stovetop and successfully testing it out, it seems that the $15 for this little container does seem to be too expensive.

Works well, just messy!
First time using sugaring paste, and I will say it was a mess to use. I should have gotten the hard wax, because as you use this wax it gets very thin and stringy if you are using it without strips. It has made a difference in hair growth and if I had realized it would not work as well without strips, it would have been better. User error for the most part, but the wax really sticks in the container and is a real booger to get opened. Just something you have to familiarize yourself with I guess.

A little too soft. Not the right texture
Gets over worked and gummy very easily. Even after using a good size glob it gets too warm and too soft very quickly
