Best flipper in the kitchen! We are for sure bias toward this flipper now! Many of the other flippers in our kitchen feel sad these days and I often move them from the drawer to the counter display basket just so they can feel like they are still a part of the kitchen. Since purchasing this flipper we use it for everything! Eggs, burgers, pork chops...other various items that need flipping. The reason is because this one is so sturdy, firm and thin! You can easily get under any food without “damage”. And since it’s stainless steel nothing sticks to it and cleanup is a breeze! Get it. You’ll love it.

I got this on a special and it is as good as advertised. There are things you deed to fry up and manipulate with some skill. I've used this not just for fish, but for pancakes, for fried potatoes, fried mushroom slices, burgers, pan fried steaks, and fried eggs. I can't say it works perfect for all the pancakes can be a hassle if too big, but it can turn a fried egg easier than my standard flat spatula's without breaking the yoke. I can turn fried potatoes with out double turning the ones that still need browning, fish can be turned without breaking up the filet, and there is enough accuracy that the non-stick pans I use this in do not get scratched. If something is starting to burn on, I do switch to a plastic spatula, but for most things this is the ticket. Works especially good in cast iron pans for cooking fried potatoes, chicken, and chicken tenders.Recommended for the cooks who want something easy to handle when turning fried foods. The two bends in the metal part work to make this scoop the food easily and the large plastic handle allows control without ever getting hot.

This is a VERY well made and great performing multi-use, stainless steel spatula. The curve is in exactly the right place for turning fish and meats without problems.The stainless steel is strong with just the right flex. The handle is made of hard plastic and is very comfortable to hold and use. Great ergonomics!The one caveat is to hand-clean the spatula and NOT use it in a dishwasher. Drying immediately following washing will prevent any pitting or discoloration as well.VERY pleased with this purchase, and as an Advanced Home Chef, this spatula will get plenty of use in my kitchenHighly recommended!! The product is very sturdy. I find the warning about not being dishwasher safe not true. While if the spatula were to fall onto the heating coils the handle would be damaged however the Stainless Steel has been unaffected by washing in the dishwasher. I even tested using liquid chlorine bleach in the first rinse water and the spatula came out looking like new.The drying temperature in my dishwasher is 182 degrees and the handle and blade were not affected in the least.I would purchase this for others to enjoy.

My wife cooks a great deal and has never been happy with the multitude of spatulas available and we have purchased many through the years. Watching cooking shows, as she does, she became aware of this type of spatula which looked very efficient and more useful than the ones she had been using. After doing much research, I purchased this one and she is thrilled with it. Not only for fish, but veggies, meats, chicken, etc. A great product all in all. Not dishwasher safe, but that's not a problem for us.

This replaces a spatula I purchased when I first set up my kitchen decades ago. No, it wasn't a fish slice, just a long, generous spatula. The kind you can't find anymore. When this arrived, promptly and well packed, I breathed a deep sigh and immediately sent a profound, though silent, thanks to the nice folks at Lifestyle Dynamics. I have small hands, which are beginning to succumb to arthritis, so I found the handle just right. And I learned, also decades ago, to hand wash and dry my stainless steel cookware and good tools, so caring for this will fit right into my established pattern. It's a treasure, well worth the few dollars it costs.

I have another fish spatula, but this one is a bit smaller and very handy for things like getting biscuits and cookies off a sheet pan. The tip is more sharply curved than my other spatula, which gives more leverage. The only thing I worry about is the warning to not use a dish washer because of possible damage to the handle, which does feel a bit flimsier than on my expensive full size spatula.But that won't affect me because I only hand wash my dishes and kitchen tools anyway.
