Gorilla-Tee Professional Grip Stick

I'll being by saying that I do not use batting gloves with wood bats--I just hate the feeling of a glove. I've been searching for an effective grip adhesive for quite some time. This product has been extremely satisfying. It is easy to use, not at all messy (unlike liquid pine tars), and has lasted me for well over one season. The product is surprisingly tacky when applied to the bat. Some may like this (I do!), but others may find it to be TOO sticky. Does not require a rag, and does not leave a residue on your hands like liquid products. This is a nice alternative to other options out there.

I am a college baseball player and needed a good pine tar stick to use. I tried some of the ones at dicks (adidas and louisville slugger brand) and those did not do well. This on the other hand provides excellent grip. If it gets cold it is hard to use, but once that cold seal is broken this makes everything sticky. If it is warm out, all you need to do is dab it on or it is actually too much and the bat will never come off of your hands.

Neither I or my son could get this stick to work. Directions say to peel the paper off and rub on the bat. Nothing would come off of the stick! We tried warming it with our hands first; but, that resulted in big sticky clumps of muck coming off onto the bat. It's not worth the hassle.

A pine tar stick is by far better than any rag or liquid. And this pine tar stick is awesome! Very sticky and long lasting. It can easily be scraped off after it loses its stickiness as well to add new coats to a bat.
