I bought this a little leather book to take as a journal and also use for small water painting through my trip to Costa Rica. This little leather binder is very sturdy and the cotton paper pages are very nice for writing. It even held up to watercolor paints. A great little journal and a wonderful keepsake for anyone.A beautiful keepsake journal for painting and journaling your trips.The embellishments of the dragon on the cover and the diamond pattern on the back was very elegant. This little journal is clearly worth 10 times what I paid for it. Very satisfied!

I didn’t read the size well enough as it is quite a bit smaller than I expected, but that’s my fault. The quality is not bad, but it is a much stiffer leather than I expected. I was hoping for something more soft and malleable. It isn’t bad, but it isn’t very earthy. Even the leather binding strap is ok, but not of great quality. I have to tie it off a bit as it is lose without doing so and the tie is a bit on the thin and tiny size so it feels like I could probably break it easily if I wanted to. The dragons on the front look nice. Still pretty and a nice gift if you keep in mind the small size as it is essentially a thick pocket book.

This thing is just to small it’s only 5 inches tall if that.

SO love, BUT way smaller than thought.. Must learn to read sizes next time, Still lovely, daughter loved it :)
