Got my forest series fountain pen yesterday. Started process this morning of opening pkg and putting ink cartridge in. This is my first fountain in many many years!! I struggled with one of the ink cartridges because there was some, what appeared to be dried ink at the tip, and that took me strong arming the pen to get the cartridge to click into place. Got the Ink on pen, the pen put back together and the weight feels perfect. I have stronger hands because of the logistical work I do so this pen might be on the heavier side for some. Easy to grip and smooth ink flow! Great pen for the price. Excited to look into another style from same company!

My gosh opened the pen and was very impressed! The weight is perfect and this is a Christmas gift that with Amazon Prime it arrived in a couple days at no cost to me. Gotta try it, I'm sure my brother in-law will love it. Get Amazon Prime for no cost fast shipping, it's totally worth the monthly fee.

Good for the price. Do have a bit trouble with writing though. Ink is often spotty. Not in a leaking way. Just randomly dry.

Everything about the pen is nice but the nib wasn't right. The very tip where the ball forms, you can see one side has no form at all while the other has all the ball, Leading to half written letters. When it flows its effortlessly my the unfinished strokes where it's just scratches is a let down.

Love the weight and the balance... but the ink and the nib refuse to meet. Too bad. My loss. Buh-bye.

Great.feel and size. I cannot get it to write well. It is hard to start even after just 10 min with the cap on. When it does write, it skips a lot.

This is a great fountain pen. I liked it so much that I bought 2 more of them in different colors. It is pretty slim and has a great weight to it. The cap does post onto the end, but i find it is top heavy when you do that.

Such a smooth pen, i like it better than my Pilot. Excellent pen for an unbelievable price!
