I have a business in which I preserve flowers from people's weddings and funerals and put them in shadowboxes. Often times I have brides ask for a "rustic" box" and I had no sources for that. When I found these on Amazon I decided to take a chance. I am very please with the boxes that i purchased. I will definitely order from BarnwoodUSA again when I need this type of box. The box is well made and pleasing to look at. It is an acryllic "glass" which is ok if you are careful to clean it with cloths that do not scratch.

The backing is cheap poster board. It has plexiglass coated in plastic which took about an hour to peels away, as it was stuck in the grooves. Too pricey for this frame. The second frame was damaged - see photos. I had not unboxed it until today, and the return window has closed. The frame is shipped unprotected in the box - to styro or padding. If you order, open right away to inspect it!

So beautiful and in perfect condition! I was worried about other comments saying it was bad wood but remember that reclaimed wood is older but has so much character! It also has a glass cover as opposed to other reviews saying it is plexiglass. I didn’t have a problem with splinters either. This frame is perfect to remember my grandmother who passed away 3 years ago. I showed it to my family and they were thrilled with this special keepsake!

Love the barnwood shadow box. I bought 2 different sizes to create memory boxes of my Dad who passed away. The 8x10 is pictured. The wood of each box was unique and weathered.

Received this product for my wedding bouquet shadow box. It arrived on time. The product seemed very cheaply made & when purchased size dimensions sound as if they would work but appeared a lot thinner than expected.

I ordered this for my daughter for Christmas and it is not worth the money. The picture by the seller shows it as a greyish smooth frame. It is DARK brown! It is splintered with ridges and gouges in the frame. The display front is plexi glass that I’m sure will scratch with the first cleaning. The back that holds your objects is cardboard held in with those metal bendy tabs that break after undoing too many times. I bought nice pins to hold her items in place, but that’s not feasible with a cardboard backing. I will be returning this item. $110 should get you a quality product to hang on the wall.

Feels very high quality, better then any shadow box you will get at your local crafts store. Used to make a succulent wall garden. Def not cheap, but did it’s job well.
