Disappointing
Firstly was expecting wooden blind but got pvc but thought would be ok for spare bedroom. It’s only been up a day and a half and has holes in it. Pvc is very thin!

Good for the price. Looks lovely
After all the bad reviews I decided to give it a try anyway. The quality is not great, but what can you expect for twenty something pounds? For the price, it is a good blind. I love how it looks in my kitchen and until now I had no problems.

Disappointing blinds
The media could not be loaded. I found that the large blinds were a nuisance. The brackets supplied are not adequate enough to support the weight of the blind. The brackets had bent forward and the blinds slid off their holdings and fell onto my partner and kids that were sitting under the window. After having no success with Ruby Deal PVC customer service, I decided to purchased some support brackets to strengthen the sides of the blinds (See picture with additional brackets).I would definitely not recommend buying these blinds as it's more hassle than it's worth especially when they sporadically fall down without extra support!? It's worth mentioning I have installed many blinds before with no issue. Spend a little more money and get something with sturdier brackets.

Not so good
Not as good as I hoped , the blind tends to sag under its own weight, the fixing end caps are a totally different shade of brown so looks odd. Also it has to fit flush to a wall if out side not recess, if your window furniture is proud it catches when lowering. I am having to make small blocks to raise it of the wall and slats do not close up tight to keep out light .

Excellent value for money
After searching online for a set of blinds for my kitchen I could hardly believe the low price of these and wasn’t expecting much in the way of quality, to be honest. However, when they arrived they looked great, the mechanism worked perfectly and the instructions were easy to understand. All the screws and parts arrived with them and they look just as good as some of the expensive blinds.I had to cut them down to size which was a lot easier than I expected (I’ve never cut or put up blinds before!) by using masking tape to wrap the ends of the blinds together to make it easier to cut through all slats in a straight line. A small hacksaw is all you need and it takes just a minute to cut right through.Obviously these are low price blinds so they’re not real wood. When the light shines through they have a bit of an orange hue to them but that’s the only downside to them. I tend to keep them open in the daytime anyway. There is a stick that attaches to the top of the blinds that controls whether the slats are open or closed and there’s a string on the other end that raises them completely. Pull the string to the left to release the blinds and right to lock them in place again. Easy!

5 minutes simple install, value? less pro's and more con's
With a bit of assistance it's up & gives me complete privacy + it blocks out the bright sunlight in the evening making the screens easier to see.on the down side though, the middle pulley line doesn't stay up so when trying to get the blind all the way up to open windows in to clean the middle droops down in a rather large sag... having to use the rather iffy plastic wind round hook to hold it right up when I need full open window access. And one slat is broken in the middle to one side of the hole the cord pulley cord goes through & 3 to the left side are split & twisted... being the black finish I've put electrical tape on these bits & just hoping it doesn't self destruct completely.the 2 120cm blinds I bought from argos for £11 a piece are cheap but overall better quality, but this was the only place I could get one big enough for the main front window... for the price on amazon for this blind & the state it's in it's not worth any more than half what I paid for it.Update 23/07/2021 - the head rail at the pull cord end snapped at 1am trying to raise the blind to open the window wide for a bit of night air, and due to a flimsy metal support bracket bending down it's kaput! still gives me privacy till I can get a new one but it's finished... money not well spent.

Good product
This product is good value for the money however it is not wood effect as described it is just plane white pvc. Installed anyway and looks neat and tidy. Just beware as we had to cut to size and these only just fitted as the mechanisms are quite close to the edge meaning you cant cut much off the ends for your fit. In all would reccomend.

Good blind but very thin
As a product, it’s exactly what it is described as and all info is correct. Fits really well and looks really nice. However the actual blind slats are extremely thin and have started warping slightly. If the sun is hot enough I could see them permanently mis-shapen
