Ensure you know what you are doing and have the amplifier tuned properly as well as your radio set up properly. These amplifiers can sound horrible if not tuned having an unskilled person thinking it's the amplifier and not user error. If these amplifiers aren't leaving you satisfied I would seek help from someone experienced because these mofos are top tier. Powerful as a mofo. I don't care what they're rated as. If you buy one and get it set up properly you will not be disappointed. User error is a lot of the issues in car audio.

The highs are great on this amp. The bass sounds shallow on JL Audio CP212-W0v3 Bass Wedge. Not only that but once you get the volume up to about 30 percent the amp goes into safe mode and shuts off. I got this to replace a Kenwood XR 901-5 eXcelon which lacked a little on the highs but made the bass wedge bump hard. Save your money on this one and look elsewhere.

Pushing JL audio components upfront , JL coaxials in back, and shallow mount 12 JL sub. Using a loc from factory headunit. Crystal clear highs, mids, and bass pounding from sub. I don’t care what people say, let me tune this amp and any audiophile will love it too.

Don't meet expectations

For the money and no fuse it slaps hard af and efficient. Im pushing a fi btl4 12 at .5 ohm and never shuts down.never dip below 13.7 volts. Pretty impressed so far ..it was this or sundown sfb 2k n that line also has no built in fuse..good so far 6months in.. up Date 2 yrs later..still slapping hard at .5ohms on same sub .clean power h/o alt and good battery. No issues surprisingly since having it wired so low (which is not recommended)

Pushing 4 8’s, specs. For woofers said I needed 3300 watts. Although I haven’t seen a any test with the Alpha 3000.1D I’m sure musically probably pushing 4500-5000. I’m just basing that on other Hifonics I’ve seen tested. In my case the amp doesn’t even get warm really. I had a 1700 nvx mono running 2 8’s lights would dim that was with 250 Amp Alternator, yellow top, and a Capacitor.. no dimming with this amp. I only have about 6 hours of use so far.
