It installs easily in the front of the ice maker. You remove the ice bin and reach down inside to pull out the small rectangular screen in the lower right side. Then you will take this filter and attach it nozzle side directly into the small hole that the rectangular screen was removed from. Make sure you save the removed screen as you will need to use it to plug the hole every time you clean the ice maker.
