Acrylic is the best for polishing, you can polish Poly carbonate but it will not be as clear and would take more work. Make sure the hard coating if any is present is removed before polishing **Q: Would this help fix a scratch on a lcd screen?** A: It may help if it's acrylic or plexiglass. It would have to be a *very* fine scratch. It won't do anything for a glass screen. (Not sure how it could make a glass scratch worse lol) **Q: Would this help minimize scratches in a Louis Ghost chair (the clear version)? Thanks!** A: It would depend on the kind of plastic used either Acrlic or Poly carbonate. If either is coated to prevent scratching the coating may be the cause of the haze. And should be removed before polishing, normally you ues a Base solution, like caustic soda to remove most comerical, coatings used today in manufacturing. I think that the Novus would work, and it also depends on the depth of the haze. Also to recoat a product used to recoat plastic head lamps should work. Member of the SPE.
