Bought this for my mam for Christmas this year as it's a wonderful life is her favourite movie and she will love this. The bell arrived in a box marked Bedford Falls (like in the movie) and was packaged inside a red velvet bag when the box was opened. The engraving is light, but the bell itself has a beautiful ring to it--again, just like in the movie.I would buy it again.

I really love this bell. It is everything as described and so much more in my opinion. The look and sound is so lovely. I am extremely happy to have a piece of history in that this is the same manufacturer of the original movie It’s a Wonderful Life. I highly recommend this exquisite bell.

Even sadder, people buy them and give them rave reviews, not realizing that for only pennies more (and in some cases, pennies less) they could be buying a bell made by the same exact American company that made the bell in the original movie with Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed.This one is the real deal. It's made by Bevin Bells, a bell company that's been around since 1832 and is headquartered in Connecticut. They sell a miniature stainless steel bell, but if you want a bell that's an exact match to the one in the movie, you're going to want this beautiful bell, made of brass, and plated with silver.You can hear from my video the beautiful ring it makes. It was a pleasure making this video, because I felt I was giving another angel his wings.It's too bad that people are getting fooled by those other bells, but if you've found this listing, count yourself among the lucky ones. And be sure to tell your friends to avoid the imitation ones!

I bought one for each of my daughters as the movie is a Christmas tradition for us. They were both moved and loved the extra touch of the box being from Bedford Falls.

Package was tight, but the bell was broken inside. Leads me to believe that it was broken before it was actually shipped to us. Lucky for us, I have two kids and am used to having to repair things. So with a few minutes of labor on my part, and a day to set, our bell is back on our tree and looking pretty.
