Swimming Ear Plugs for Adults

I don't like water in my ears. I was gonna permanently seal my ears with concrete, but this was cheaper than concrete. Works well, too.EDIT: I liked the first pair of these I got. They were pale yellow and opaque. I recently realized that there was BLACK MOLD down the center of the plugs. I figured I used them for two seasons, whatever. Ordered another pair and was figuring on giving the company a heads up. Well, the new ones are like the ones in the picture. NOT opaque. Different shape than my old ones. These ones are a pain in the butt. They don't seal well. I'm pretty disappointed. I've never edited a review before, but I would not order these if I was you. I'm getting different ones. Or permanently sealing my ears with concrete. Time will tell. Caveat Emptor...

I was hesitant to buy these given the low price, assuming the quality to also be low, but based on positive reviews I tried them out and they are perfect! I've not only used these in the pool, where they work flawlessly to keep water out of my ears while swimming laps, but I've used them in school to cancel out noise during exams, and while traveling to block out roaring plane engines. I've been using them since early in the year, and neither the plugs nor the case are wearing out at all. I'd buy again, but it doesn't look like I'm going to have to. I also own two pairs of Speedo brand plugs, which were much more expensive than these, and I prefer these ones hands down. Highly recommend!

i actually don't have any issues with water getting in my ears - i swim without any earplugs. but the shower head i'm using right now is really loud, obnoxiously so, and i wanted something to quiet it down. this works perfectly. when i take them out afterwards there doesn't seem to be any water in my ears, although, i personally wouldn't care if there was. i just wanted something to reduce the noise. i tried using my regular foam earplugs at first but they didn't work - they would swell up with water and slide out of the ears - these rubber ones stay put. the price seems a bit high for how simple they are but they do the job well, are decently comfortable in the ears and come with a nice little case. 5 stars.

Have tubes and this is perfect for the shower. NO water in ears.

These plugs work great until you lose them!! The chain fastener became loose and thus the chain came apart. Had them hooked into my goggles case. But after the chain on the carrying case came apart, I stored them in my swim fins but they fell out and got lost. Need to have a better design for the chain. Maybe design a clip so you can latch it on to something else.

I bought these because my other plugs would fall out while swimming, and I couldn't see them floating because they were gray and blended into the water. Ultimately they would float into the pump filter traps. I had hoped these brightly-colored ones would allow me to find them faster because of their color. But they didn't because THEY DON'T FLOAT! So they are actually WORSE than what I had.

While they may work perfectly well in pools, lakes, etc, they stood up mere minutes to the waves of Cape May, NJ. Seemed to stay in my wife's ears up until the waves, but I'd still only recommend for pools and other contained environments.

I start training in freestyle and starts to get annoyed with the amount of water flows into my ear.I have been trying several ear plugs but this is the best one that I have so far.It sticks in my ear all the time. Some other ear plugs that I tried before this do not want stay inside my ear all time.Negative:You won't be able to hear other people sometimes, but then again, swimming pool is not really a good place to have a long conversation.
