For 39.99 this is a very high quality product. The paint job is well done with no knicks or scratches. It feels solid and has some weight to it. Metal and what feels like PVC. The trigger is not functional. The hilt was crafted very well and wth a lot of detail. Sheath is plastic with a wood interior.

Very nice and sturdy build. The blade is a nice solid metal. Got it as a gift. It is a standard sized sword so it isn't as long as Genji's actual blade but the quality is super nice.

My son (10) received this sword as a Christmas present. He was beyond excited to have a Genji sword and loves how detailed it is. So far, it has withstood all of the travel and use that comes with a 10 year old boy.It has a nice weight to it, the blade is metal but not sharp (the tip is pointy as demonstrated with many boxes being stabbed!) The blade slides into the sheath smoothly, if not a little challenging at first (seems to be loosening the more the blade is removed and re-inserted.)All in all, so far it is a great sword. It will stand up to any cosplay he chooses to do and every day use.

First, this is an adult sized replica, so if you buy it for your kid (like I did) it will probably be too big. That's my fault, not theirs. However, the size isn't the only issue, the thing is heavy. Probably heavier than an actual katana of the same size. There is also no strap, no way to easily put a strap on, or any good way that I can see to secure it when not in your hands.The quality of the construction seems really good and the details are definitely there. I think they could make a few refinements and have a five star product.

Love it! Bought this for myself and will soon hang it up. In the mean time, here’s some pictures of the product I received right out of the box.Personally, I love the way the sword slides into and out of the wooden sheath, as it feels like it’s clamps down so you have to pull a little harder in order to get it out. Besides that, I also like that it isn’t sharp so I can actually feel a bit safer around myself. It is metal however, so it has a tiny bit of weight to it and could hurt if you hit someone with it. Still, won’t cut the skin, so that’s cool (though not for those looking for an actual blade).Overall, for the price, I’d call this one a win! Especially when compared to other cosplay props and their quality in comparison at this price point! It’s incredible!

I was hesitant at first buying this sword based off of other verified purchased reviews and their pictures that they've uploaded. My OW Genji sword arrived on time and the product overall is good/okay. However, the blade is not on the hilt straight. It's angled and it's very noticeable and there are minor defects as well such as the paint details being scuffed and smudged. The sword's scabbard isn't exactly the right fit for it. Almost every time I put the sword back in, it gets stuck and bangs against the raised end of the sword so be careful placing the sword back into the scabbard. The inside and top part of the scabbard wasn't shown love. You can see unpainted wood towards the top of it. If you're looking for something cheap and fun to get by with for your cosplay, then this is the item for you but if you're looking for something of higher quality and someone to pay a little more attention to detail then you're either going to make it yourself or spend a lot more money.

This was a gift for my son who is into Genji. I took him to an Anime convention where he me the voice actor for Genji and he signed the sword. It is very impressive and I would recommend to all gamers and sword enthusiasts. Would not recommend for children under 12.

I bought 2 Genji swords (a gold one and a white one). The gold one arrived okay and was perfectly fine but the white one came scratched up and was really dirty and there wasnt even nothing inside the box to protect it from breaking. The sword wasnt wrapped up, nor did it have anything around it to protect it.When I got the gold sword, it had stuff in the box to protect it and it wasn't scratched up or dirty. The white sword also had a sticker on it as well And the sheath doesnt stay on by itself. It just falls right off. I'm kinda upset but I'll deal with it I guess. I wanted the sword for display purposes. (I also decided to show a short video of my gold sword. It's in better condition)
